Top 7 Best Baby Sleep Consultants in Jackson, TN (2026)

Mother holding a sleeping baby by a window above the downtown courthouse tower, baby sleep consultants in Jackson Tennessee

If you go looking for baby sleep consultants in Jackson, the first thing you will notice is that nobody in this line of work keeps an office here. Jackson sits almost exactly halfway between Memphis and Nashville, about eighty miles either direction, and the help that reaches Madison County comes from those two cities over video, phone and messaging. That matters far less than it sounds, because sleep coaching is one of the few kinds of support that works the same at a distance. Prices run from about 55 dollars for a self-paced newborn course to 899 dollars for a two month support window. The real question is which style of support fits your family.

We pulled together this guide after looking at every Jackson-area, Memphis, Nashville and statewide Tennessee virtual sleep option we could find, comparing published pricing, methods, credentials, age ranges and who each one is genuinely best for. We read the package pages, checked certifications against the bodies that issue them, and dropped anyone who could not show they are still taking clients in 2026. What follows is six curated picks plus Betteroo, our app-based alternative, so you can see the whole range in one place.

Quick Answer

Most Jackson families pay between 189 and 899 dollars for a full sleep package, with self-paced courses starting near 55 dollars and in-home newborn nursing quoted separately. Serenity Sleepers in Nashville publishes tiers at 300, 649 and 899 dollars and is approved by most HSA and FSA plans. Well Rested Mama, which runs a Memphis page and works fully online, starts at 59 dollars for a guide or 189 dollars for a package. Sleep Baby sells a 55 dollar newborn course and packages from 199 dollars, and Hub City Doula is based in Jackson itself, sending a registered nurse who is also a board certified lactation consultant into the home. App-based alternatives like Betteroo deliver ongoing personalized plans for 15 to 25 dollars per month.

How Jackson Parents Are Actually Sleeping in 2026

Before you start comparing packages, it helps to know what normal actually looks like. Betteroo’s State of Parent & Baby Sleep 2026 is the largest dataset of its kind with 68,366 parents across 108 countries, and it gives you a baseline for what tired really means. There is no clean Jackson-only sample above our reporting threshold, so the figures below are the national 2026 numbers rather than a West Tennessee read. They still tell you a great deal about how ordinary your situation is.

Numbers like these matter mostly for perspective. They tell you that broken nights are common rather than a parenting failure, and they help you judge whether paid help is worth the cost. Here is who actually serves Jackson.

Full transparency: Betteroo is our product. We have included it on this list because we genuinely think it is the best option for parents who want ongoing personalized support without the price tag of a full consultancy package. The other six picks are established Jackson consultants we would send our own friends to.

How We Picked the Best Jackson Sleep Consultants

Tennessee does not license sleep coaching, so a polished website tells you very little on its own. To narrow the field of baby sleep consultants in Jackson, we read every service page and about page in full, checked which body issued each certification, and confirmed that each practice is still booking clients in 2026 rather than coasting on an old site. To make this list, a consultant had to meet four criteria:

We started with a list of more than twenty West Tennessee, Memphis, Nashville and statewide virtual sleep consultants, pulled from certification directories, Tennessee parent groups and search. Most did not survive the check. Several were adult sleep clinics rather than pediatric coaches, a few had published nothing since 2023, and a number were national directory listings with no traceable person behind them. Six practices made it, and none of them is headquartered in Jackson itself.

We did not accept payment, affiliate commissions, or sponsorship from any consultant on this list. Each pick reflects what we would recommend if a friend in Jackson asked us where to start.

1. Serenity Sleepers, Best Overall for Jackson Families

Serenity Sleepers is run by Kelley Thompson, a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant trained through the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting, alongside Bailey Garcia, a pediatric occupational therapist. That pairing is unusual and it is the main reason this practice sits at the top for Jackson. The team is based in Nashville, works with families virtually anywhere, and splits its programs cleanly by age from the newborn weeks through the preschool years.1

For babies of five to twenty four months the Basic plan is 300 dollars and covers a custom sleep plan, one private thirty minute video call and two follow up emails. The VIP tier is 649 dollars for thirty days of support and the Elite tier is 899 dollars for sixty days, both with weekly check-ins, app based access and developmental milestone input from the occupational therapist. A standalone forty five minute phone consult is 120 dollars if you only need one problem solved. The practice states its services are approved by most HSA and FSA plans under sleep hygiene, and every package starts with a free fifteen minute discovery call.

Best for: Jackson parents who want a Tennessee team, published prices, a long support window and a developmental read on why sleep has fallen apart rather than just a settling protocol.

2. Well Rested Mama, Best Budget Options and Clearest Pricing

Well Rested Mama runs the Memphis-facing sleep training service nearest to Jackson, and it is the most itemised pricing structure we found anywhere. The business is certified through the Cradle Coach Academy, works one hundred percent online, and lists every package publicly with exactly what is and is not included. Be clear-eyed about the geography: the company address on the site is in Clearwater, Florida, and Memphis is a service page rather than an office.2

The newborn guide is 59 dollars and the DIY sleep training guide for four months and up is 89 dollars, neither with one to one support. Packages start at 189 dollars for a plan with one follow up email, then run through 329, 479, 579 and 729 dollars as the support window and bedtime coverage grow, topping out at 829 dollars for the extended bedtime tier. Twin pricing is published alongside every package, which almost nobody else does. Read the support hours carefully, because the cheaper tiers answer emails weekdays until five in the evening only.

Best for: Jackson parents on a tight budget, families expecting twins who want a price before they call, and anyone who would rather test a self-guided guide first.

3. Sleep Wise Consulting, Best Network Backing With a Tennessee Consultant

Sleep Wise Consulting is a national pediatric sleep network, and Madison Highsmith is its consultant based in Nashville. She is a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant and a Certified Newborn Care Specialist, works as a Certified Nursing Assistant and full-time nanny, is CPR and First Aid certified, and says she is currently pursuing a nursing degree with plans to specialise in pediatrics. Her listed specialty is newborns and infants, which is the stage most Tennessee practices skip.3

The network splits its packages by stage: prenatal and newborn, baby, toddler, school aged, tween and adolescent, plus a separate twins and multiples track and a membership option. Package prices are not published on the site, so you will get a figure on the call rather than from a price page. Every family starts with a free twenty minute evaluation booked directly into Madison’s calendar, and she describes her style as calm, structured, warm and supportive. Ask on the call which consultant you would actually be working with, since the network is large.

Best for: Jackson parents who want a big organisation behind the plan but still want to know the name and training of the person picking up the phone.

4. My Dreamy Sleeper, Best for Parents Who Will Not Leave the Room

My Dreamy Sleeper is Jessica Byrne, a Nashville based sleep consultant who trained in 2016 and says she has worked one to one with nearly nine hundred families since. What sets the practice apart is how explicitly she rules out the thing most parents fear: her site states plainly that her method never involves putting a baby in the crib and walking away. She works with newborns through eight year olds, which is a wider span than most.4

The approach is described as parent-present and customised, meaning you stay in the room supporting your child while she supports you with guidance and direction through the process. Options cover newborn and infant one to one work, a separate newborn course, toddler and preschool packages, school age support for a child who has stopped sleeping in their own bed, and sibling or group pricing. There are local in-home options as well as virtual ones, but Nashville is eighty miles from Jackson, so treat virtual as the realistic route. Prices are not published, so book the free discovery call and ask.

Best for: Jackson parents whose hard line is that nobody leaves a crying child alone, and families with an older child who has started ending up in the parents’ bed.

5. Hub City Doula, Best for In-Home Newborn Nursing and Feeding

Hub City Doula is the clinician on this list who is actually in Jackson. Hollie Stockdale is a Registered Nurse with a BSN and nine years of nursing experience, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and a working doula, and she volunteers as a La Leche League leader in West Tennessee. The practice runs out of Jackson rather than out of Nashville or Memphis, so the in-home visits happen without anyone driving eighty miles first. Her full doula package is three prenatal visits, birth attendance and two postpartum visits, with the option to extend, which means the IBCLC and the RN are the same person from birth onward.5

For a family in the first weeks, the postpartum follow up consult is the useful one. She spends a minimum of four hours in the home covering laundry, light cleaning, breastfeeding help, meal prep, sibling bonding and helping parents make sense of the birth, with latch reassessment and a baby weight check included. Overnight visits can be scheduled for respite care, and additional postpartum visits can be stacked on as needed. There is also a first week consult aimed at the first twenty four to forty eight hours, with phone support after it, and a return to work session covering supply, storage and pump maintenance. Pricing is not published and the practice keeps a separate insurance page, so ask when you book.

Best for: Jackson parents in the first weeks who want a neonatal trained nurse and a board certified lactation consultant in the same person, at home, without a drive from Memphis.

6. Sleep Baby Consulting, Best Cheap Virtual Entry Point

Sleep Baby Consulting keeps a Nashville page and does virtual consults throughout Tennessee, but we want to be straight about the structure: the headquarters is in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the in-home consultants are listed in Charlotte, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Milwaukee and Denver, not Tennessee. What earns it a place here is the price ladder, which starts lower than anything else on this list and is published in full.6

The Virtual New Baby Bootcamp is a self-paced audio and video course for newborns and expecting parents at 55 dollars, with a 99 dollar plus version that adds a call. The Sweet Dreams package starts at 199 dollars, Toddler Transformation is 225 dollars for ages two to five with a 335 dollar plus tier, and the flagship Well Rested Baby package for twelve weeks to two years starts at 375 dollars. There is also a cheap travel handbook and routine cards. Everything is virtual for a Jackson family, and the team offers a free interest call by email first.

Best for: Jackson parents who want to spend as little as possible to start, expecting parents preparing before the birth, and families with a two to five year old.

7. Betteroo, Best App-Based Alternative

Full transparency: Betteroo is our product, so we have included it here for comparison but encourage you to evaluate it alongside the other options.

The biggest gap with hiring a sleep consultant, even a great one, is that the engagement ends. You get a plan, you get a few weeks of follow-up, and then you are on your own. But baby sleep doesn’t stop changing. Regressions hit at 4, 8, 12, and 18 months. Nap transitions arrive whether you are ready or not. Travel, illness, daycare, a new sibling: every change resets the picture, and most families end up rebuilding their plan from scratch each time.

Betteroo is built differently. It’s designed to stick with you, adapting to your baby and your situation as both evolve, with built-in tracking, insights tailored to your family, and ongoing personalized guidance instead of a one-time intervention. The idea is that you shouldn’t need to hire a new consultant every time something changes, or piece together advice from books, forums, and Instagram at 3am when something new comes up.

It also factors in you: how you are doing, your bandwidth, your comfort level with different approaches, not just your baby. Because a plan that assumes you are operating at full capacity isn’t useful when you are running on three hours of broken sleep. For Jackson parents working hospital and plant shifts with no consultant in town, that’s often the difference between a plan that works and one that gets abandoned by week two.

A common path we see from Jackson families: they start with Betteroo for the day-to-day support and personalized plan, and book a one-hour call with a consultant like Serenity Sleepers or Well Rested Mama if they hit a specific roadblock that needs a human in the loop. That combination tends to cost less than a full in-home package and gives you ongoing support long after the consultant call wraps up.

Best for: Families who want ongoing personalized support that evolves with them through every regression, nap transition, and life change, rather than a one-time consultant engagement.

What to know: An app can’t replace having an experienced human in your home during the hardest nights. If your baby has medical complexity, or you know you do better with hands-on coaching, hire a consultant. For most families’ day-to-day sleep questions, an adaptive app does the job, and keeps doing it as your baby grows.

Where Jackson Baby Sleep Consultants Are Based

We want to be straight about this: none of the six practices above is headquartered in Jackson. We could not verify a single certified pediatric sleep consultant with a practice address in Madison County, which is entirely normal for a metro of this size. What Jackson has instead is good coverage from both directions, and coaching that works identically over video whether you live in North Jackson, Midtown or out towards Medina. Here is how the geography actually falls.

Jackson Itself and Madison County

Nobody on this list has an office here, so whether you are in North Jackson near the hospital, closer to downtown and the university campuses, or out past the bypass towards Medina and Three Way, it makes no practical difference to what you can book. Everything is delivered by video, phone and messaging. The one thing local geography really changes is in-home overnight care, which is not available inside Madison County from any practice we could verify. For that you are looking at a caregiver travelling from Memphis.

Memphis, Eighty Miles West

Memphis is the nearest large market, but the in-home option no longer means a drive. Well Rested Mama runs a Memphis service page, though its coaching is one hundred percent online and its company address is in Florida. Hub City Doula works out of Jackson rather than Memphis or Nashville, and Hollie Stockdale is a registered nurse and board certified lactation consultant who does postpartum visits in the home, including overnight visits for respite care. That is the one realistic route to having a trained person in your house overnight. Ask what a visit covers and how many hours it runs before you build a plan around it, because pricing is quoted rather than published.

Nashville and Middle Tennessee, Eighty Miles East

Serenity Sleepers, Sleep Wise Consulting through Madison Highsmith, and My Dreamy Sleeper all work from the Nashville side, and all three deliver their coaching remotely, so a Jackson family gets exactly what a Franklin family gets. My Dreamy Sleeper lists local in-home options, but those are Nashville local, not Jackson local. The honest advantage of the split is choice: you are not stuck with one consultant because she happens to live nearby, and you can compare four free discovery calls in a week.

How Much Do Jackson Baby Sleep Consultants Cost?

Pricing for baby sleep consultants in Jackson is more transparent than you might expect, because four of our six picks publish real figures on their own sites. What you pay tracks two things: how long the support window runs, and whether a trained person is physically in your home. Expect roughly:

Self-guided guides and courses

$55 to $89

Downloadable guides or a self-paced newborn course with no one to one support attached. A sensible first step on a tight budget.

Single consultation call

$120 to $179

One assessment call covering one or two specific problems, with written recommendations and a follow up email afterwards.

Standard two to four week package

$189 to $649

Full intake, a custom written plan, a training call and daily or near daily contact through the first stretch of implementation.

Extended or premium program

$729 to $899

Long support windows of up to sixty days, bedtime coverage on the first nights, weekly check-ins and cover for regressions.

Overnight and in-home support

$2,600 and up

Either a remote overnight text support package or a neonatal RN working an overnight shift in your home, which is Memphis or Nashville based.

Typical cost of baby sleep consultants in Jackson in 2026
Support typeTypical price
Self-guided guides and courses$55 to $89 one off
Single consultation call$120 to $179 per call
Standard two to four week package$189 to $649 per package
Extended or premium program$729 to $899 per package
Overnight and in-home support$2,600 and up, or quoted per night

Serenity Sleepers, Well Rested Mama and Sleep Baby Consulting all publish their numbers, which makes comparison straightforward: 300 dollars, 189 dollars and 199 dollars respectively for their entry level packages, with a 55 dollar newborn course as the cheapest way in of all. Sleep Wise Consulting, My Dreamy Sleeper and Hub City Doula quote privately. Ask two things on every call: what an extra support week costs, and whether they accept HSA or FSA payment. Serenity Sleepers states its services are approved by most HSA and FSA plans, which can change the real cost considerably.

What to Expect from a Free Discovery Call

Almost every practice here opens with a free call, and it costs you nothing to book two or three and compare. Serenity Sleepers runs a free fifteen minute discovery call, Sleep Wise Consulting books a free twenty minute evaluation directly with Madison Highsmith, and My Dreamy Sleeper starts every family on a free discovery call. Treat the call as an interview rather than a sales pitch, and go in with these five questions written down.

What is your methodology, and how flexible is it?

You want to hear a named approach and then hear it bent to fit your child. Ask what they would do if your baby is still crying on night four, and what the plan looks like if you are not willing to leave the room at all. My Dreamy Sleeper answers that second question up front with a parent-present method. A consultant who describes one rigid protocol for every family is telling you something useful about how they work.

What credentials and training do you have?

Tennessee has no state licence for sleep coaching, so ask which body certified them and in what year. Kelley Thompson at Serenity Sleepers trained through the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting, Well Rested Mama is certified through the Cradle Coach Academy, and Hollie Stockdale at Hub City Doula is a Registered Nurse with a BSN, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a working doula. Anyone worth hiring will name their training without hedging.

What is included, and what does follow-up look like?

Get the specifics in writing: how many calls, over how many weeks, through what channel, and how quickly they reply. Serenity Sleepers runs sixty days of support on its Elite tier with weekly check-ins, while Well Rested Mama limits its cheaper packages to weekday emails until five in the evening. Also ask what an extra week costs, because regressions rarely respect a two week window.

Have you worked with a situation like ours?

Reflux, a toddler climbing out of the crib, twins, room sharing in a small house, a seven year old who will not stay in their own bed: ask directly. Well Rested Mama publishes twin pricing on every package, and My Dreamy Sleeper takes children up to eight. A consultant who has not handled your exact scenario should say so plainly rather than improvise on your first night.

What does total pricing look like?

Ask for the full figure including any add ons, not the headline number. Find out whether extra support days, sibling plans or bedtime coverage cost more, and whether they accept HSA or FSA payment. Serenity Sleepers says most HSA and FSA plans approve its services under sleep hygiene, and Well Rested Mama charges 149 dollars for three extra days of email support or 249 dollars for five, which is worth knowing before you compare quotes.

How to Choose the Right Jackson Baby Sleep Consultant for Your Family

Three questions to ask yourself before booking a discovery call with baby sleep consultants in Jackson:

1. How hands-on do you want the support to be?

This is the first real fork. If you want a written plan and the confidence to run it yourself, a 55 dollar newborn course from Sleep Baby Consulting or a 59 dollar guide from Well Rested Mama does the job for very little money. If you want someone reading your logs each morning and adjusting the plan, look at Serenity Sleepers, where the support window runs thirty or sixty days rather than a few. If you want a trained nurse in your house overnight, that is Hub City Doula, which schedules overnight visits for respite care and quotes per family.

2. What is your comfort level with crying?

Decide this before you book, because it filters the list faster than price does. Some parents can hold a structured check-in approach for three nights and others cannot manage two minutes, and both are legitimate. My Dreamy Sleeper is explicit that you stay in the room throughout, and Well Rested Mama lists no-cry options alongside graduated ones. Reading up on common sleep training methods first will let you say clearly on the call what you are and are not willing to do.

3. How old is your child?

Age narrows this list quickly. Under three months you want newborn foundations rather than training, which is where Hub City Doula, Madison Highsmith at Sleep Wise and the Sleep Baby newborn course fit. Between four months and three years everyone here will take you. Past five years, My Dreamy Sleeper and the Sleep Wise school age track are the options that keep going. Looking at a baby sleep schedule by age before the call will also tell you whether your real problem is the daytime schedule rather than the settling.

When You Probably Don’t Need a Sleep Consultant

Honestly? A lot of sleep struggles don’t require hiring a $2,000+ consultant. If your baby is generally healthy, you don’t have a complex medical situation in the picture, and you are dealing with a fairly common issue (a sleep regression, a nap transition, a schedule that just feels off), you can usually solve it with:

If you have genuinely tried these for several weeks and nothing is working, or if your situation is unusually complex, that is when a human consultant earns their fee. Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a baby sleep consultant cost in Jackson, Tennessee?

Most Jackson families pay between 189 and 899 dollars for a full sleep package. Serenity Sleepers publishes tiers at 300, 649 and 899 dollars plus a 120 dollar standalone phone consult. Well Rested Mama starts at 189 dollars and runs to 829 dollars, with guides at 59 and 89 dollars. Sleep Baby Consulting sells a 55 dollar newborn course, packages from 199 dollars and its flagship baby package from 375 dollars. Sleep Wise Consulting, My Dreamy Sleeper and Hub City Doula quote per family, so in-home postpartum nursing and overnight visits need a direct enquiry.

Are there any baby sleep consultants actually based in Jackson, TN?

Not that we could verify. We could not find a certified pediatric sleep consultant with an office or practice address in Madison County, which is entirely normal for a metro this size. Jackson is served from Memphis about eighty miles west and from Nashville about eighty miles east, and everything is delivered over video, phone and messaging. Because the coaching itself happens remotely, the distance changes nothing about the service you receive. It only matters if you specifically want a trained person in your house overnight.

Do Jackson sleep consultants come to your home?

For ordinary sleep coaching, no. Every coaching practice serving Jackson works remotely, and an in-home visit adds very little that video does not already cover. The exception is newborn nursing: Hub City Doula runs out of Jackson itself, with in-home postpartum visits and overnight respite visits from a registered nurse who is also a board certified lactation consultant. My Dreamy Sleeper lists local in-home options too, but local there means Nashville. Ask what a visit covers, and about travel time where it applies, before you plan around either one.

What age can I start sleep training with a Jackson consultant?

Most consultants serving Jackson start structured sleep training between four and six months, once a baby has the weight and development to manage longer stretches without feeding. Before that you are looking at gentle sleep shaping: consistent wind down routines, learning wake windows, and practising putting a baby down drowsy but awake. Serenity Sleepers runs a dedicated newborn track from birth to four months, Madison Highsmith at Sleep Wise specialises in newborns and infants, and Sleep Baby sells a newborn course for expecting parents. If you are unsure whether your baby is ready, ask on the free call.

Is a sleep consultant worth it, or can I do it myself?

Plenty of families fix sleep with a book and a fortnight of consistency, and if that sounds like you, start there. What you are actually buying from a consultant is a plan built for your particular child and someone to talk you through night three, which is where most self led attempts fall apart. If you have already tried twice and reverted both times, the money is buying follow through rather than new information. A 55 dollar course or an 89 dollar guide is a sensible middle step before committing to a full package.

Are baby sleep consultants in Jackson certified?

Tennessee does not license sleep consulting, so certification means whichever private program a consultant completed. It still tells you a lot. Kelley Thompson at Serenity Sleepers trained through the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting and works with a pediatric occupational therapist, Well Rested Mama is certified through the Cradle Coach Academy, Madison Highsmith at Sleep Wise is a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant and Certified Newborn Care Specialist, and Hollie Stockdale at Hub City Doula is a Registered Nurse with a BSN and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Ask for the issuing body and the year, and be cautious with anyone who cannot name both.
