Top 7 Best Baby Sleep Consultants in Missoula, MT (2026)

Mother rocking a sleeping baby near Mount Sentinel at dusk, guide to baby sleep consultants in Missoula

If you are searching for the best baby sleep consultants in Missoula, the good news is that the Garden City does better than most metros its size: a certified sleep consultant lives here, three doula practices take postpartum work in and around town (two of them with nighttime care), and a Montana night nanny company names Missoula in its own service area. What you will not find is a big-city menu of agencies. The nearest night nanny bases are in Kalispell and Bozeman, and the longest, gentlest coaching programs arrive by video from out of state. Knowing which option fits which problem saves a lot of tired phone calls.

We pulled this guide together after working through every provider we could verify who genuinely reaches Missoula, Lolo, Frenchtown, Bonner, East Missoula, Florence and the Bitterroot Valley, comparing credentials, published rates, methods and who each one is honestly best for. Below: six options worth a discovery call, an app based alternative for the long ongoing stretch, and a straight answer about which of them can be in your house at 2am and which ones work by phone and video.

Quick Answer

Missoula families can choose between hands-on newborn help and remote sleep coaching. The Goodnight Baby Co., based in Kalispell and Bozeman, names Missoula in its service area and publishes night nanny support from 45 dollars an hour and sleep coaching from 650 dollars. JESS4SLEEP Consulting is a certified sleep consultant based in Missoula with packages from 150 to 569 dollars. Local doula Cerisse Allen charges 40 to 45 dollars per hour for postpartum care, Feral Mother Doula offers an eight hour overnight for 400 dollars, and Sacred Roots Doula quotes per family. For a gentle virtual program, Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby runs 445 to 1,165 dollars for babies and works with Missoula families remotely. App-based alternatives like Betteroo deliver ongoing personalized plans for 15 to 25 dollars per month.

How Missoula Parents Are Actually Sleeping in 2026

Before we get to the consultants, the local picture. As part of Betteroo’s State of Parent & Baby Sleep 2026, the largest dataset of its kind with 68,366 parents across 108 countries, we wanted to show you Missoula-specific numbers. We do not yet have a clean Missoula-only sample above our reporting threshold, so the figures below reflect our national 2026 numbers. They still tell a clear story about what families are living through.

Numbers like these land harder in a mountain town where grandparents are often a long drive or a flight away and winter nights start early. That makes it worth knowing exactly which of the options below can physically be in your house in Missoula, and which one you only need a decent internet connection for.

Full transparency: Betteroo is our product. We have included it on this list because we genuinely think it is the best option for parents who want ongoing personalized support without the price tag of a full consultancy package. The other six picks are established options we would send our own friends to.

How We Picked the Best Missoula Sleep Consultants

We looked at every option for baby sleep consultants in Missoula with verifiable credentials, an active practice in 2026, and a track record of working with families across Missoula, the Bitterroot Valley and western Montana. To make this list, a consultant had to meet four criteria:

  • Certified or formally trained in pediatric sleep, typically through programs like the Family Sleep Institute, the Cradle Coach Academy, the Sleep Sense program, or equivalent clinical credentials (RN, MD, certified postpartum doula or Newborn Care Provider).
  • Active Missoula-area practice with availability in 2026 (we excluded consultants who have moved away or wound down their practice).
  • Transparent methodology, meaning they describe their approach upfront rather than hiding it behind a sales call.
  • Real client outcomes backed by reviews, testimonials, or media coverage we could verify.

We started from a list of more than a dozen western Montana doulas, night nannies, lactation providers and certified sleep consultants, then narrowed on those four criteria. Several names did not make the final list. A Missoula birth doula and craniosacral therapist appears on a local birth center’s resource list, but her published services center on birth support and bodywork, not overnight care or sleep. A Bitterroot and Missoula County birth doula and lactation counselor lists no postpartum doula, overnight or sleep service on her site. A local night nurse was reachable only through a social media page, so we could not verify current services, credentials or pricing on a site of her own, and the same was true of several individuals in Kalispell, Helena and north Idaho who appear only as directory profiles. One national sleep consulting network we checked has no consultant in Montana, Idaho or eastern Washington. And the sleep clinics that turn up in a Montana search are medical practices that diagnose sleep disorders, which is a different service from coaching a healthy baby’s sleep.

We did not accept payment, affiliate commissions, or sponsorship from any consultant on this list. Each pick reflects what we would recommend if a friend in Missoula asked us where to start.

1. The Goodnight Baby Co., Best Overall for Night Nannies and Sleep Coaching

The Goodnight Baby Co. describes its team as Montana’s infant sleep specialists, the term it uses for night nannies, and it is the only dedicated baby sleep company we found that names Missoula in its own service area. The business is based in Bozeman and Kalispell, and its site lists Bozeman, Billings, Helena, Kalispell, Whitefish, Polson, Missoula and their surrounding communities, with a direct contact, Amanda, for the Kalispell to Missoula side of the state. Founder Melenie Duval is an Advanced Lactation Consultant with 28 years in lactation, parent education and infant sleep support, and Vice President of Operations Amanda Butterfield has more than 27 years as a birth and postpartum doula. The company says every specialist is a vetted employee, not a contractor, and that it follows AAP guidelines.

Prices are published. Night nanny support starts at 45 dollars an hour, with a minimum of six hours and up to twelve hours a night, for the first twelve weeks and extendable to six months. Support for twins, triplets and other multiples starts at 55 dollars an hour. Nighttime Sleep Coaching, for babies and toddlers from six months to two years, starts at 650 dollars and begins with a 90 minute planning session, followed by a choice of four support levels that can combine remote help with hands-on nights in your home for up to two weeks. An Ask Me Anything call is 35 dollars for 30 minutes or 65 dollars for an hour. Because the team is based in Kalispell and Bozeman, ask early about availability and travel for Missoula nights.

Best for: Missoula families who want a trained night nanny in the house during the first twelve weeks, parents expecting twins or triplets, and anyone who wants hands-on sleep coaching for a baby past six months.

2. JESS4SLEEP Consulting, Best Sleep Consultant Based in Missoula

JESS4SLEEP Consulting is Jessica Shott, and it is the one dedicated sleep consulting practice we could verify with a consultant living in Missoula. Her site describes her as a certified infant and toddler sleep consultant (it does not name the certifying program, so ask), a Montana native who spent fourteen years in San Diego before moving back to her hometown. She has worked with children for over a decade and frames her work as combining behavior intervention with sleep. Her stated commitments are evidence-based strategies, a plan built together with you, and respect for your family’s comfort level and personal philosophies around sleep training. Consultations run by phone or video, and the first 15 minute discovery call is free.

The price list is the clearest in this guide. A Prenatal and Newborn package for babies under four months is 150 dollars, covering a 60 to 90 minute consultation on safe sleep, day and night confusion and soothing, plus three follow-up emails. For infants from four to eighteen months and toddlers from eighteen months to five years, the DIY package is 199 dollars with a personalized plan and minimal follow-up, Classic is 369 dollars with two weeks of email and phone support and daily sleep log check-ins, and Supreme is 569 dollars with three weeks of support and a check-in call a month later. A one hour private coaching call is 90 dollars. Her blog has been quiet since 2023, so confirm current availability on that free call.

Best for: Missoula parents with a baby past four months or a toddler who want a local certified consultant, a written plan and a price they can see before the first call.

3. Cerisse Allen, Best Postpartum Doula With Lactation Support

Cerisse Allen is a full-spectrum doula who has served families in and around western Montana since 2014, and her site names Missoula, the Bitterroot and surrounding parts of western Montana. She maintains birth and postpartum doula certifications with DONA International, is a Certified Lactation Counselor and an Evidence Based Birth Instructor, and states that as of 2026 she is licensed as a doula with the state of Montana. She hosts Missoula Baby Bistro and teaches a six week Birth Essentials series in central Missoula near the University of Montana, with 2026 and 2027 class dates posted, which is about as clear a sign of an active local practice as you can get.

Postpartum care is published at 40 to 45 dollars per hour and can be built into a custom package. Her list of what that covers includes help with newborn feeding and care, lactation support, sibling support, errands, snack and meal preparation, regular check-ins on your recovery, and nighttime care that supports family sleep. A stand-alone 90 minute lactation session is 80 dollars, in person or virtual. She also offers consultations later in infancy and toddlerhood around returning to work, starting solids and weaning. Sliding scale, payment plans and barter are available as needed, and she can accept HSA and FSA payment with carrier approval. She is a doula and lactation counselor, not a sleep trainer, so expect responsive newborn support, not a formal sleep training plan.

Best for: Missoula and Bitterroot families who want an experienced, certified doula and lactation counselor in the house through the newborn weeks, including some nights, at a published hourly rate.

4. Feral Mother Doula, Best for a Single Overnight at a Flat Price

Feral Mother Doula is a two person doula team working in and around Missoula, founded by Anna Marie Hernandez and Avery Carroll. Anna Marie has attended families in birth since 2013 and has completed trainings with DONA among others, and Avery is a birth and postpartum doula who came to the work through a local prenatal yoga training and birth doula certification. Their voice is not for everyone (the site talks about grief, ritual and radical honesty as much as swaddling), but families who want emotional depth alongside practical help will recognize themselves in it. A Missoula birth center lists the team among its doula referrals, and the first consultation is free.

What earns them a place here is a published overnight price. Stand-alone sessions are 150 dollars for two hours, 300 dollars for four hours, and 400 dollars for an eight hour overnight nanny shift, which makes this the simplest way we found to book a single night of help in Missoula without committing to a package. Their birth packages run from 1,800 to 3,500 dollars and bundle four to thirty-two hours of postpartum care, which the top tiers let you spend in two hour, four hour or eight hour overnight blocks. Neither doula presents herself as a certified sleep consultant, so treat this as rest and recovery in the newborn weeks, and bring in a sleep consultant later if you need a formal plan.

Best for: Missoula parents who need one or two full nights of sleep right now, and families who want birth and postpartum support from the same two people.

5. Sacred Roots Doula, Best Holistic Fourth Trimester Support

Sacred Roots Doula is Marisa Wright, who is from Missoula, studied biology at the University of Montana and had both of her sons here, one at Community Hospital and one at the Birth Center. Her site says she serves Missoula and surrounding areas as a certified birth doula and postpartum doula, both through DONA International, with Certified Lactation Counselor training, a Spinning Babies parent educator certification and a certification course through Postpartum Support International. Her training list also includes lectures on child sleep training. She describes herself as a full time professional doula, and a Missoula birth center lists her among its doula referrals.

Her postpartum doula service starts with a free consultation, after which you decide together how often she comes in the weeks or months after birth. It covers emotional support, help with the baby and sibling integration, breastfeeding and feeding support, light housekeeping and light meal preparation, with herbal remedies and a mother honoring ceremony if you want them. The piece most relevant to sleep is her Postpartum Consultation, a one-off planning and problem solving session she describes as being for parents who find, sometimes months down the road, that the baby is not sleeping well or feeding is hard, and it includes phone, text and email support afterward. Prices are not published, so she quotes per family, and she says she provides services at reduced cost when possible.

Best for: Missoula families who want a calm, experienced local doula for the fourth trimester, and parents who want one personal session on sleep and feeding without buying a full program.

6. Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby, Best Gentle Virtual Program

Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby is not a Montana business, and we want to be plain about that: it is a Denver based team that works virtually with families worldwide, which is how it reaches Missoula. We included it because it fills the gap the local options leave, a team of sleep consultants with a gentle method, a long support window and consultants who mostly work in Mountain Time, the same zone as Missoula. Founder Kandra Becerra is a certified sleep consultant who started the company after a consultant told her to let her four week old cry it out. The philosophy she built instead encourages parents to stay in the room for the whole process, comforting and guiding while the child learns independent sleep skills, with the plan adjusted to your parenting style.

Packages are published by age. For babies from three months to two years, Basic is 445 dollars with a 90 minute video consultation, a personalized plan, four follow-up calls and two weeks of support, Essential is 595 dollars with three weeks of daily text and voice messaging, and VIP is 1,165 dollars with six weeks of daily support and monthly check-ins for six months. Newborn packages run 295, 695 and 1,295 dollars. Twins and triplets are priced the same as a single baby, which is unusual, and the site says most HSA and FSA accounts are accepted. Every engagement starts with a free 15 minute call, and all of the work with a Missoula family happens by video, phone and messaging.

Best for: Missoula parents who are uneasy about crying and want to stay in the room, families with twins or triplets, and anyone who wants up to six weeks of daily messaging support.

7. Betteroo, Best App-Based Alternative

Full transparency: Betteroo is our product, so we have included it here for comparison but encourage you to evaluate it alongside the other options.

The biggest gap with hiring a sleep consultant, even a great one, is that the engagement ends. You get a plan, you get a few weeks of follow-up, and then you are on your own. But baby sleep doesn’t stop changing. Regressions hit at 4, 8, 12, and 18 months. Nap transitions arrive whether you are ready or not. Travel, illness, daycare, a new sibling: every change resets the picture, and most families end up rebuilding their plan from scratch each time.

Betteroo is built differently. It’s designed to stick with you, adapting to your baby and your situation as both evolve, with built-in tracking, insights tailored to your family, and ongoing personalized guidance instead of a one-time intervention. The idea is that you shouldn’t need to hire a new consultant every time something changes, or piece together advice from books, forums, and Instagram at 3am when something new comes up.

It also factors in you: how you are doing, your bandwidth, your comfort level with different approaches, not just your baby. Because a plan that assumes you are operating at full capacity isn’t useful when you are running on three hours of broken sleep. For Missoula parents raising a baby far from family through a long Montana winter, that’s often the difference between a plan that works and one that gets abandoned by week two.

A common path we see from Missoula families: they start with Betteroo for the day-to-day support and personalized plan, and book a one-hour call with a consultant like The Goodnight Baby Co. or JESS4SLEEP Consulting if they hit a specific roadblock that needs a human in the loop. That combination tends to cost less than a full in-home package and gives you ongoing support long after the consultant call wraps up.

Best for: Families who want ongoing personalized support that evolves with them through every regression, nap transition, and life change, rather than a one-time consultant engagement.

What to know: An app can’t replace having an experienced human in your home during the hardest nights. If your baby has medical complexity, or you know you do better with hands-on coaching, hire a consultant. For most families’ day-to-day sleep questions, an adaptive app does the job, and keeps doing it as your baby grows.

For a deeper look at how Betteroo compares to other app-based approaches like Huckleberry, Pampers Sleep Coach, and Taking Cara Babies, see our full review of the best sleep training apps for babies.

Where Missoula Baby Sleep Consultants Are Based

Four of the six options on this list are based in Missoula itself, which is unusual for a metro this size. The map below shows where each one actually works from, which is the most useful thing to know before you start calling: the Missoula doulas can be at your door, the night nanny team travels from Kalispell or Bozeman, and the Denver consultants reach you on the same terms as a family anywhere else.

Missoula, East Missoula and Bonner

In town, from the University District and the Rattlesnake out to East Missoula and Bonner, you have the full list. Cerisse Allen, Feral Mother Doula and Sacred Roots Doula all work in and around Missoula, and JESS4SLEEP Consulting is based here and coaches by phone and video. The Goodnight Baby Co. names Missoula in its service area, with its nearest base in Kalispell, so book night nanny shifts well ahead of your due date.

Lolo, Florence and the Bitterroot Valley

South of town along Highway 93, Cerisse Allen is the provider who names the Bitterroot directly, alongside Missoula and surrounding parts of western Montana. Sacred Roots Doula serves Missoula and surrounding areas, so ask about Lolo and Florence. Hamilton is about 45 miles south, far enough that any in-home provider will want to talk through travel first. JESS4SLEEP Consulting and Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby work remotely, so a family in Stevensville or Hamilton pays what a family in Missoula pays.

Frenchtown, Mineral County and north toward the Flathead

West along Interstate 90 through Frenchtown and into Mineral County, none of the providers here names your town, so start with the remote options and ask the Missoula doulas how far they travel. To the north, The Goodnight Baby Co. lists Polson, Kalispell and Whitefish in its service area and has a base in Kalispell, about 115 miles from Missoula, which makes it the natural call for families on the Flathead side.

How Much Do Missoula Baby Sleep Consultants Cost?

Pricing around Missoula is shaped by a small local market and a lot of geography, not big-city rates. Local doula hours sit near the national middle, night nanny care is priced by the hour with a minimum shift, and remote coaching costs the same here as anywhere. Expect roughly:

In-home postpartum care

$40 to $75

Per hour with a Missoula doula, from a published hourly rate up to a short two hour session.

Overnight newborn care

$45 to $55

Per hour to start with a Montana night nanny team, six hour minimum, or a flat 400 dollars for a local eight hour overnight.

Single calls and newborn consults

$35 to $350

A one-off coaching call or a newborn education session for the weeks before sleep training is appropriate.

Sleep coaching packages

$199 to $1,295

A personalized plan plus anything from a day to six weeks of support from a certified sleep consultant.

App-based plans

$15 to $25

Per month, for personalized, adaptive sleep guidance that keeps updating as your baby grows.

Typical cost of baby sleep consultants in Missoula in 2026
Support typeTypical price
In-home postpartum doula care$40 to $75 per hour
Overnight newborn careFrom $45 to $55 per hour, or $400 per eight hour overnight
Single calls and newborn consults$35 to $350
Sleep coaching packages$199 to $1,295
App-based plans$15 to $25 per month

Five of the six providers here publish prices, which is unusual and useful. The Goodnight Baby Co. posts night nanny support from 45 dollars an hour with a six hour minimum, 55 dollars an hour for multiples and sleep coaching from 650 dollars. JESS4SLEEP Consulting runs 150 to 569 dollars. Cerisse Allen posts 40 to 45 dollars per hour, Feral Mother Doula posts 150 dollars for two hours and 400 dollars for an eight hour overnight, and Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby runs 445 to 1,165 dollars for babies and up to 1,295 dollars for newborn packages. Sacred Roots Doula quotes per family. Two western Montana specific things to ask about: whether travel from Kalispell or out to the Bitterroot is billed on top, and whether an HSA, FSA or sliding scale can cover part of the cost.

What to Expect from a Free Discovery Call

Almost every provider here offers a free first conversation, including a free 15 minute discovery call with JESS4SLEEP Consulting and with Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby, and free consultations with Feral Mother Doula and Sacred Roots Doula. In a region this spread out it is also the fastest way to find out whether somebody can physically get to you. Here are five questions worth asking.

Can you actually reach our part of the Missoula area, and what does that cost?

Ask this first, because it rules options in or out fastest. Cerisse Allen names Missoula, the Bitterroot and surrounding parts of western Montana. Feral Mother Doula works in and around Missoula, and Sacred Roots Doula serves Missoula and surrounding areas. The Goodnight Baby Co. names Missoula but is based in Kalispell and Bozeman, so ask about travel and how far ahead to book. JESS4SLEEP Consulting and Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby work by phone and video, so distance does not come into it.

What is your methodology, and how flexible is it?

Ask the provider to describe their default approach and how far they will adapt it. Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby encourages parents to stay in the room for the whole process and adjusts the plan to your parenting style. JESS4SLEEP Consulting says she takes your comfort level and personal philosophies into account and builds the plan together with you. The Goodnight Baby Co. describes its approach as biologically respectful sleep shaping and follows AAP guidelines. The doulas are doing something different again, which is hands-on care with routine building inside it.

What credentials and training do you have?

Pediatric sleep consulting is not licensed by any government body, so ask directly and expect a named program. On this list, Cerisse Allen and Sacred Roots Doula both hold birth and postpartum doula certifications through DONA International, and Cerisse Allen states she is licensed as a doula in Montana as of 2026. The founder of The Goodnight Baby Co. is an Advanced Lactation Consultant. JESS4SLEEP Consulting and the founder of Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby both describe themselves as certified sleep consultants, so ask each which program certified them.

What is included, and how long does support last?

Find out exactly what you are buying: hours and shift minimums for in-home care, or the plan and support window for a program. JESS4SLEEP Consulting includes one day, two weeks or three weeks of support depending on the package. Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby ranges from two weeks to six weeks of daily messaging plus monthly check-ins. The Goodnight Baby Co. sets a six hour minimum per night for night nanny shifts, and Feral Mother Doula sells postpartum time in two, four or eight hour blocks.

Have you worked with a situation like ours?

Whether you have a newborn, twins, a baby who arrived early, or no family nearby to help, ask whether the provider has handled it. The Goodnight Baby Co. has a dedicated night nanny service for twins, triplets and quadruplets, and its operations lead writes about her own two sons born at 34 weeks. Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby prices multiples the same as one baby. Cerisse Allen lists multiples, medical complexity and loss among the family situations she has supported. A provider who has seen your situation will give you a more realistic timeline.

How to Choose the Right Missoula Baby Sleep Consultant for Your Family

Three questions to ask yourself before booking a discovery call with baby sleep consultants in Missoula:

1. How hands-on do you want the support to be?

If you can carry out a plan once it is written, remote coaching will cost less than in-home care and can start this week. JESS4SLEEP Consulting works by phone and video from here in Missoula, and Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby works with Missoula families remotely from Denver. If you need somebody awake with the baby so you can sleep, the realistic options are a night nanny from The Goodnight Baby Co., an overnight session with Feral Mother Doula, or postpartum hours with Cerisse Allen or Sacred Roots Doula.

2. What is your comfort level with crying?

Providers here start from different places and most will adapt, but the starting point matters. Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby was founded as a reaction against cry it out advice and keeps parents in the room. JESS4SLEEP Consulting builds the plan around your comfort level and history with sleep training, and The Goodnight Baby Co. calls its approach biologically respectful sleep shaping. The doulas are responsive by design, because someone is physically there. For more on how the approaches differ, see our guide to common sleep training methods.

3. How old is your child?

In the first twelve weeks, the right tools are newborn care and sleep shaping, not training: The Goodnight Baby Co. builds its night nanny service around those weeks, the three Missoula doula practices work in that window, and JESS4SLEEP Consulting sells a 150 dollar newborn education package. From three to four months, Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby and JESS4SLEEP Consulting take structured work, and The Goodnight Baby Co. offers sleep coaching from six months to two years. JESS4SLEEP Consulting also has toddler packages up to age five. A solid baby sleep schedule by age can also tell you whether the issue is just the schedule.

When You Probably Don’t Need a Sleep Consultant

Honestly? A lot of sleep struggles don’t require hiring a 2,000 dollar consultant. If your baby is generally healthy, you don’t have a complex medical situation in the picture, and you are dealing with a fairly common issue (a sleep regression, a nap transition, a schedule that just feels off), you can usually solve it with:

  • A solid age-specific schedule (we cover most ages in our baby sleep schedule by age guide).
  • Consistent application of one of the standard sleep training methods for 1 to 2 weeks.
  • A personalized plan from an app like Betteroo, or a free quiz like ours that gives you a starting framework.

If you have genuinely tried these for several weeks and nothing is working, or if your situation is unusually complex, that is when a human consultant earns their fee. One western Montana specific note: if your baby is under three to four months, formal sleep training is not the right tool yet. Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby starts its main packages at three months, JESS4SLEEP Consulting at four months and sleep coaching from The Goodnight Baby Co. at six months, so for a newborn a night of help, a doula or a short newborn consult buys you more than a full package. For more on how app-based approaches stack up against traditional consulting, see our deep dive on whether sleep training apps actually work.

Yes, one that we could verify. JESS4SLEEP Consulting is run by Jessica Shott, a certified infant and toddler sleep consultant who moved back to her hometown of Missoula and works with families by phone and video. Three doula practices, Cerisse Allen, Feral Mother Doula and Sacred Roots Doula, are also based here and handle newborn and postpartum care. The Goodnight Baby Co. names Missoula in its service area from bases in Kalispell and Bozeman, and Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby works with Missoula families remotely from Denver.

Can I hire a night nanny or overnight doula in Missoula?

Yes. The Goodnight Baby Co. lists Missoula in its service area and offers night nanny support from 45 dollars an hour, six to twelve hours a night, during the first twelve weeks and extendable to six months, with a separate service for multiples from 55 dollars an hour. Its bases are in Kalispell and Bozeman, so book early. Locally, Feral Mother Doula publishes an eight hour overnight nanny session at 400 dollars, and Cerisse Allen includes nighttime care that supports family sleep in her postpartum work at 40 to 45 dollars per hour.

Does insurance or Montana Medicaid cover doula care or sleep consulting in Missoula?

Coverage is limited, so ask before you assume. Cerisse Allen says she can accept HSA and FSA payment with carrier approval, that your private insurer may have a program that reimburses out-of-pocket doula care, and that there may be Montana Medicaid billing for doula care in 2027. Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby says most HSA and FSA accounts are accepted for its sleep packages, and The Goodnight Baby Co. provides a superbill for its lactation consultations. Sleep consulting itself is generally paid out of pocket.

What age can I start sleep training with a consultant serving Missoula?

Most consultants begin formal behavioral sleep training somewhere between three and six months, once babies can manage longer stretches. Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby’s main packages start at three months, JESS4SLEEP Consulting’s infant packages start at four months, and The Goodnight Baby Co. offers sleep coaching for children from six months to two years. Before that point, newborn education sessions, night nanny care and hands-on doula support are the appropriate tools.

Do sleep consultants serving Missoula offer virtual consultations?

Yes. JESS4SLEEP Consulting runs all of its consultations by phone or video from Missoula, and Rocky Mountain Sleeping Baby works entirely by video, phone and messaging from Denver. The Goodnight Baby Co. offers remote support within its sleep coaching packages and short Ask Me Anything calls, and Cerisse Allen offers virtual lactation and postpartum support when that fits better. Virtual support carries no travel cost and works well for families who can carry out a plan on their own.
