Top 7 Best Baby Sleep Consultants in Wenatchee, WA (2026)

Mother rocking a sleeping baby above the Columbia River at dusk, guide to baby sleep consultants in Wenatchee

If you are searching for the best baby sleep consultants in Wenatchee, the honest starting point is that the valley has no dedicated sleep training business of its own. What it does have is a small circle of perinatal professionals: a DONA certified doula who brings postpartum care into homes from Leavenworth to Chelan, a registered nurse and lactation consultant with an office on Lake Chelan, and a licensed midwife teaching a newborn care class at the Wenatchee birth center. Structured sleep coaching comes over the Cascades by video and phone, at the same price a family in Seattle would pay.

We pulled this guide together after working through every provider we could verify who genuinely reaches Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Cashmere, Leavenworth, Entiat and Chelan, comparing credentials, published rates, methods and who each one is honestly best for. Below: six options worth a discovery call, an app based alternative for the long ongoing stretch, and a straight answer about which problems a video call can solve and which ones need somebody to walk through your front door.

Quick Answer

Wenatchee families usually combine local hands-on newborn support with remote sleep coaching. Full Moon Doula Care is a Wenatchee postpartum doula listing 50 dollars per hour, fully covered for families on eligible Washington Apple Health plans. Lakeside Baby in Chelan is a registered nurse and lactation consultant charging 125 to 150 dollars per hour for home postpartum visits, and Honeyleaf Birth & Baby teaches a 190 dollar newborn care class. For sleep coaching, Desiree Baird in Snohomish publishes packages from 399 to 649 dollars, Healthy Happy Sleep runs 625 to 1,525 dollars and Sleep Wise Consulting runs 495 to 1,850 dollars, all remote. App-based alternatives like Betteroo deliver ongoing personalized plans for 15 to 25 dollars per month.

How Wenatchee Parents Are Actually Sleeping in 2026

Before we get to the consultants, the local picture. As part of Betteroo’s State of Parent & Baby Sleep 2026, the largest dataset of its kind with 68,366 parents across 108 countries, we wanted to show you Wenatchee-specific numbers. We do not yet have a clean Wenatchee-only sample above our reporting threshold, so the figures below reflect our national 2026 numbers. They still tell a clear story about what families are living through.

Numbers like these land harder in a valley where the nearest big-city specialist is on the far side of Stevens or Blewett Pass, and where harvest and packing season can put a parent on long shifts for weeks at a time. That makes it worth knowing exactly which of the options below can come to your door, and which one only needs a decent internet connection.

Full transparency: Betteroo is our product. We have included it on this list because we genuinely think it is the best option for parents who want ongoing personalized support without the price tag of a full consultancy package. The other six picks are established options we would send our own friends to.

How We Picked the Best Wenatchee Sleep Consultants

We looked at every option for baby sleep consultants in Wenatchee with verifiable credentials, an active practice in 2026, and a track record of working with families across Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Chelan and Douglas counties and North Central Washington. To make this list, a consultant had to meet four criteria:

  • Certified or formally trained in pediatric sleep, typically through programs like the Family Sleep Institute, the Cradle Coach Academy, the Sleep Sense program, or equivalent clinical credentials (RN, MD, certified postpartum doula or Newborn Care Provider).
  • Active Wenatchee-area practice with availability in 2026 (we excluded consultants who have moved away or wound down their practice).
  • Transparent methodology, meaning they describe their approach upfront rather than hiding it behind a sales call.
  • Real client outcomes backed by reviews, testimonials, or media coverage we could verify.

We started from a list of about twenty North Central Washington doulas, lactation consultants, childbirth educators and Washington sleep coaches, then narrowed on those four criteria. Several names did not make the final list. An East Wenatchee birth and postpartum doula is still listed in local directories, but her own website no longer loads and her directory calendar had not been updated in a year. A board certified lactation consultant serving Leavenworth and the Wenatchee Valley states on her site that she is not accepting new clients until November 2026. A long-running local doula and massage practice lists birth doula support, classes and massage, but no postpartum doula or sleep service. A Bellevue gentle sleep coach with clear published prices gives no service area or virtual option on her site, and an Olympia nurse sleep coach has posted nothing on her site since 2023. And the sleep medicine clinics in the valley are medical facilities that diagnose sleep disorders, which is a different service from coaching a healthy baby’s sleep.

We did not accept payment, affiliate commissions, or sponsorship from any consultant on this list. Each pick reflects what we would recommend if a friend in Wenatchee asked us where to start.

1. Full Moon Doula Care, Best Overall Option in Wenatchee

Full Moon Doula Care is Laura McCullough, who lives in Wenatchee with her husband and son and runs the one hands-on practice we found that names the whole valley in plain words. Her site says she offers all of her services in the Wenatchee Valley and surrounding areas, including Leavenworth, Chelan, Moses Lake and the smaller towns in between. She is a DONA certified birth doula with a master’s degree in education and a college background in child development and family systems, and her directory profile adds DONA postpartum doula training and a Washington state doula certification dated 2025. She writes openly about her own preterm labor, a long NICU stay and postpartum anxiety, which is a large part of why she does this work.

Postpartum care is built around the fourth trimester: practical help with household logistics so you can rest, a nonjudgmental ear, and newborn education grounded in evidence about normal newborn behavior, with a stated specialty in lactation support and newborn feeding. Her directory profile lists postpartum care at 50 dollars per hour and showed her taking new clients with due dates into 2027. The detail that matters most locally is cost: she states that Washington Apple Health plans through Coordinated Care, Molina, WellPoint and CHPW fully cover her birth and postpartum packages, including in-home postpartum care, and she accepts HSA and FSA cards. Two honest caveats: sleep training is not a listed service, and her site does not mention overnight shifts, so ask.

Best for: Wenatchee, East Wenatchee and Leavenworth families who want a trained doula in the house during the first weeks, and anyone on Apple Health who assumed that kind of help was out of reach.

2. Desiree Baird, Best Certified Sleep Coach With Published Packages

Desiree Baird is the Washington sleep coach with the clearest published menu, and she is not local: she is based in Snohomish, on the west side of the Cascades, and her site says she serves families virtually across the world. For Wenatchee parents that means coaching by video call and email, not a home visit. She describes herself as an internationally certified infant and child sleep consultant, with certifications through the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting, and her homepage counts more than 500 families helped, more than nine years of experience and more than 120 five-star Google reviews. She is a mother of three, including twins, and works with children from newborn through age five.

Every tier is priced on her services page. The Basic package is two weeks at 549 dollars, with a comprehensive sleep assessment, a customized plan, two video calls, sleep log review and email support during business hours. Essential is three weeks at 579 dollars and Premier is four weeks at 649 dollars, each with a weekly coaching call. A Nap Transition and Schedule Reset package is 399 dollars for children who already fall asleep on their own, twins add 50 dollars to any package, and a 60 minute Ask Me Anything consultation with a recap email is 150 dollars. She accepts HSA and FSA cards. One date to know: her site says package rates rise on December 1, 2026.

Best for: Wenatchee parents with a baby past the newborn stage who want a certified Washington coach, a written plan, a few weeks of accountability and a price they can see before the first call.

3. Lakeside Baby, Best Nurse and Lactation Credentials

Lakeside Baby is Jennifer Lane, a registered nurse since 2007, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2020 and a certified child passenger safety technician, working from an office on West Woodin Avenue in Chelan. Her nursing career ran through neonatal intensive care, postpartum mother and baby care and outpatient obstetrics, including time at Confluence Health, and she grew up in the Lake Chelan Valley. She is not a sleep trainer and does not claim to be. She earns her place here because so many broken nights in the first months are really feeding problems, and because she offers something nobody else in the metro publishes: a registered nurse who will come to your home.

That service is the Home Postpartum Support RN Visit, which her site describes as designed to promote maternal recovery, self-care, nourishment and sleep, along with infant care and parent education. It books in a three hour minimum at 125 dollars per hour between 8am and 6pm and 150 dollars per hour from 6pm to midnight. Lactation visits are 215 dollars in the office for up to two hours or 200 dollars by video, with a week of follow-up by phone and messaging. The honest limit is geography. Her service area is 25 miles from Chelan City Hall, which she says takes in Manson and Entiat but does not reach Wenatchee itself, and visits beyond it carry a surcharge and are decided case by case.

Best for: Chelan, Manson and Entiat families who want a nurse in the house in the first weeks, and Wenatchee parents whose night waking looks like a feeding issue and who are happy to drive up the river or meet by video.

4. Honeyleaf Birth & Baby, Best Newborn Care Class

Honeyleaf Birth & Baby is Eva Lorenz, a licensed midwife and certified professional midwife who spent six years catching babies with Wenatchee Midwife Service and its birth center and has been attending births for nearly fifteen years. She has paused clinical practice while her own daughters are small and put that energy into teaching. It is the least consultant-like entry on this list, and deliberately so: for expecting parents in the valley, one of the most affordable ways to head off panic at week six is to walk into the newborn stage already knowing what normal looks like. Her stated expertise is physiological birth, newborn care, infant feeding and intuitive parenting practices.

The Newborn Care and Postpartum Healing Class is a one day group workshop of about five and a half hours, held at the Wenatchee Birth Center, for 190 dollars per couple. The curriculum covers the constant needs of a newborn, including feeding, diapering, comforting and sleeping, how to read a baby’s cues, getting breastfeeding started, babywearing, and tips for recovering from sleep deprivation, alongside the parent’s own physical healing. She recommends taking it late in the third trimester. A private baby-led feeding class for babies of about six to eight months is 150 dollars per family. Her doula collective is contracted with Medicaid, though its package is birth focused with one postpartum visit. This is education, not sleep training.

Best for: Expecting parents in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee who would rather spend one Saturday learning newborn care from a midwife than spend the first month guessing.

5. Healthy Happy Sleep, Best Gentle Approach With Daily Support

Healthy Happy Sleep is Laura Meeks, and she is a national virtual consultant, not a Washington one. Her site does not name a home town, lists her support hours in Eastern time, and says she coaches families whether they are local or across the country, so Wenatchee families work with her remotely. Her certification is the specific kind worth looking for: Child Sleep Consultant through The Family Sleep Institute, earned in 2012, with more than thirteen years of practice since and a degree in early childhood education. She also lists a Certified Lactation Counselor credential, is a mother of seven with two bonus sons, and works with children from birth to five.

Her method is where she differs from the other sleep coaches here. She describes a root cause approach using gentle, attachment preserving techniques, and states plainly that her plans do not involve cry it out. Prices are on each package page. Basic Support is 625 dollars for a strategy call, a custom written plan and two weeks of support calls. Daily Support adds daily text and email access with sleep log reviews, at 825 dollars for three weeks or 1,025 dollars for six. The Face to Face package, 1,250 or 1,525 dollars, includes a two to three hour live video session on the first night. One practical note: her daily support window of 8am to 10pm Eastern ends at 7pm Pacific.

Best for: Wenatchee parents who have ruled out cry it out, want someone checking in every day while they make the change, and do not mind that the coach is in another time zone.

6. Sleep Wise Consulting, Best for Long Newborn Support and Twins

Sleep Wise Consulting is a national team of certified consultants, and the Washington based coach we found on its roster is Megan Kumpf, a Senior Sleep Consultant in Seattle who joined the company in 2018. Her profile describes a background in early childhood education and development plus years as a private nanny, and lists specialties in floor beds, moving babies out of the Snoo, feeding issues and behavioral boundaries. Everything runs by phone, email and text, and other consultant profiles on the same site describe supporting parents across the United States, so Wenatchee families work with her remotely on the same terms as a family in Seattle. It starts with a free 20 minute evaluation call.

What earns it a place is the length of support on offer. Baby packages are for children over three months and include a sleep needs analysis, a 60 to 90 minute phone consultation, a comprehensive plan, four follow-up calls and two weeks of email support. With a senior consultant like Megan, Basic is 545 dollars, Gold 770, Diamond 1,095 and Platinum 1,815, and standard consultants run 495 to 1,665 dollars. Newborn packages are the unusual part: six months of support for 995 to 1,170 dollars, or a full year for 1,675 to 1,850 dollars, with 100 dollars added for newborn twins. Separate twin sleep training packages start at 795 dollars.

Best for: Wenatchee families who want one consultant on call from the newborn weeks through the first birthday, parents of twins, and anyone who values a long support window over the lowest price.

7. Betteroo, Best App-Based Alternative

Full transparency: Betteroo is our product, so we have included it here for comparison but encourage you to evaluate it alongside the other options.

The biggest gap with hiring a sleep consultant, even a great one, is that the engagement ends. You get a plan, you get a few weeks of follow-up, and then you are on your own. But baby sleep doesn’t stop changing. Regressions hit at 4, 8, 12, and 18 months. Nap transitions arrive whether you are ready or not. Travel, illness, daycare, a new sibling: every change resets the picture, and most families end up rebuilding their plan from scratch each time.

Betteroo is built differently. It’s designed to stick with you, adapting to your baby and your situation as both evolve, with built-in tracking, insights tailored to your family, and ongoing personalized guidance instead of a one-time intervention. The idea is that you shouldn’t need to hire a new consultant every time something changes, or piece together advice from books, forums, and Instagram at 3am when something new comes up.

It also factors in you: how you are doing, your bandwidth, your comfort level with different approaches, not just your baby. Because a plan that assumes you are operating at full capacity isn’t useful when you are running on three hours of broken sleep. For Wenatchee parents juggling orchard-season shifts with the nearest specialist over a mountain pass, that’s often the difference between a plan that works and one that gets abandoned by week two.

A common path we see from Wenatchee families: they start with Betteroo for the day-to-day support and personalized plan, and book a one-hour call with a consultant like Full Moon Doula Care or Desiree Baird if they hit a specific roadblock that needs a human in the loop. That combination tends to cost less than a full in-home package and gives you ongoing support long after the consultant call wraps up.

Best for: Families who want ongoing personalized support that evolves with them through every regression, nap transition, and life change, rather than a one-time consultant engagement.

What to know: An app can’t replace having an experienced human in your home during the hardest nights. If your baby has medical complexity, or you know you do better with hands-on coaching, hire a consultant. For most families’ day-to-day sleep questions, an adaptive app does the job, and keeps doing it as your baby grows.

Where Wenatchee Baby Sleep Consultants Are Based

No dedicated baby sleep consultant is headquartered in Wenatchee, so the map below shows where each option is actually based. That is the most useful thing to know before you start calling: two are in Wenatchee itself and one is forty miles up the Columbia in Chelan, all three able to meet you in person. Two more sit on the west side of the Cascades in Snohomish and Seattle and work by video and phone, and one is a national consultant who works with Wenatchee families entirely remotely.

Wenatchee, East Wenatchee and Sunnyslope

On both sides of the Columbia, from the neighborhoods around Central Washington Hospital to East Wenatchee and out to Sunnyslope, the shortest trip belongs to Full Moon Doula Care, whose doula lives in Wenatchee. Honeyleaf Birth & Baby teaches its newborn class at the Wenatchee Birth Center, so it is a short drive from either county. Lakeside Baby’s 25 mile radius stops short of the city, which makes a video lactation visit or a drive to Chelan the realistic route. Desiree Baird, Healthy Happy Sleep and Sleep Wise Consulting all work remotely.

Cashmere, Leavenworth and the upper valley

Up Highway 2, Full Moon Doula Care names Leavenworth outright and says it covers the smaller towns in between, which takes in Cashmere, Dryden and Peshastin. That is the only hands-on option we could verify for the upper valley, so reserve early if your due date falls in winter, when the drive is slower. Everything else reaches Leavenworth by video or phone on identical terms to Wenatchee, which is the genuinely useful thing about remote coaching in a mountain town. The Honeyleaf class is about half an hour down the valley.

Chelan, Manson, Entiat and the Lake Chelan Valley

North along the Columbia, Lakeside Baby is the local answer: its office is in Chelan, its service area runs 25 miles from Chelan City Hall, and it names Manson, Entiat, Pateros and Brewster among the communities it serves. It also hosts a free pregnancy and mom and baby support group at the office on Monday mornings. Full Moon Doula Care lists Chelan in its own coverage for in-home postpartum care. For structured sleep training, families on the lake use the same three remote consultants as everyone else in the metro.

How Much Do Wenatchee Baby Sleep Consultants Cost?

Pricing around Wenatchee splits cleanly in two. Local hands-on help is priced by the hour and is often covered by Apple Health or reimbursed by insurance, while sleep coaching is priced by the package and costs exactly what it costs in Seattle, because it is delivered remotely. Expect roughly:

In-home postpartum care

$50 to $150

Per hour, from a Wenatchee postpartum doula at the low end to a registered nurse home visit in the Lake Chelan area at the high end.

Classes and single visits

$150 to $215

A newborn care class per couple, a single sleep consultation by video, or one lactation visit of up to two hours.

Sleep coaching packages

$399 to $825

A written plan plus two to four weeks of calls and email or text support from a certified sleep consultant.

Extended support

$945 to $1,850

Longer or more intensive packages, from daily text support up to a full year starting in the newborn weeks.

App-based plans

$15 to $25

Per month, for personalized, adaptive sleep guidance that keeps updating as your baby grows.

Typical cost of baby sleep consultants in Wenatchee in 2026
Support typeTypical price
In-home postpartum doula and nurse care$50 to $150 per hour
Newborn classes, single consultations and lactation visits$150 to $215
Sleep coaching packages$399 to $825
Extended and intensive consultant support$945 to $1,850
App-based plans$15 to $25 per month

All six publish numbers somewhere, which makes comparing easy. Full Moon Doula Care’s directory profile lists 50 dollars per hour for postpartum care, and Lakeside Baby posts 125 dollars per hour by day and 150 dollars per hour in the evening for nurse visits. Honeyleaf Birth & Baby charges 190 dollars per couple for its newborn class. Desiree Baird runs 399 to 649 dollars with a 150 dollar single consultation, Healthy Happy Sleep runs 625 to 1,525 dollars, and Sleep Wise Consulting runs 495 to 1,850 dollars. Two Wenatchee specific things to ask: whether your Apple Health plan covers the doula outright, and whether a visit outside Lakeside Baby’s 25 mile radius adds a surcharge.

What to Expect from a Free Discovery Call

Most providers here start with a free first conversation, including Full Moon Doula Care’s free consult, Desiree Baird’s free discovery call, Healthy Happy Sleep’s free 15 minute call and Sleep Wise Consulting’s free 20 minute evaluation. In a metro where half the list is across a mountain range, that call is also the fastest way to learn who will actually be in your house. Here are five questions worth asking.

Can you actually come to us, and what does the trip cost?

Ask this first, because it sorts the list fastest. Full Moon Doula Care names the Wenatchee Valley, Leavenworth, Chelan and Moses Lake. Lakeside Baby works within 25 miles of Chelan City Hall, adds 35 dollars for a home lactation visit inside that area, and bills a surcharge beyond it, decided case by case. Honeyleaf Birth & Baby teaches in person at the Wenatchee Birth Center. Desiree Baird, Healthy Happy Sleep and Sleep Wise Consulting do not travel at all: their coaching is by video, phone, email and text.

What is your methodology, and how flexible is it?

Ask the provider to describe their default approach and how far they will bend it. Healthy Happy Sleep is the most explicit: gentle, attachment preserving techniques and no cry it out. Desiree Baird builds a customized plan from a comprehensive sleep assessment and says every family deserves a solution that is tailored. Sleep Wise Consulting writes a comprehensive plan from a sleep needs analysis. The three local options are doing something different, which is newborn care, feeding support and education, not behavioral sleep training.

What credentials and training do you have?

Pediatric sleep consulting is not licensed by any government body, so ask directly and expect a named program. On this list, Healthy Happy Sleep holds a Family Sleep Institute certification from 2012, Desiree Baird names the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting, and Sleep Wise Consulting certifies its own consultants. Locally, Full Moon Doula Care is a DONA certified birth doula, Lakeside Baby is a registered nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and Honeyleaf Birth & Baby is taught by a licensed midwife.

What is included, and how long does support last?

Find out exactly what you are buying: hours and minimums for in-home care, or the plan and support window for a program. Lakeside Baby’s nurse visits book in a three hour minimum and its lactation visits include a week of follow-up. Desiree Baird’s packages run two, three or four weeks with email support during business hours. Healthy Happy Sleep offers three or six weeks of daily text and email. Sleep Wise Consulting ranges from two weeks of email support to a full year for newborns.

Take our free 3-minute quiz and walk into any discovery call already knowing your baby’s sleep profile and a starting plan.

Take the 3-Min Quiz →

Have you worked with a situation like ours?

Whether you have twins, a baby home from the NICU, a feeding problem underneath the night waking, or no relatives on this side of the mountains, ask whether the provider has handled it. Desiree Baird is a twin mom and adds 50 dollars for twins, and Sleep Wise Consulting sells separate twin packages. Lakeside Baby’s owner worked in neonatal intensive care, and Full Moon Doula Care’s doula went through a NICU stay with her own son. A provider who has seen your situation will give you a more realistic timeline.

How to Choose the Right Wenatchee Baby Sleep Consultant for Your Family

Three questions to ask yourself before booking a discovery call with baby sleep consultants in Wenatchee:

1. How hands-on do you want the support to be?

If you can carry out a plan once it is written, remote coaching is the only route to structured sleep training in the Wenatchee Valley, and it can start this week: Desiree Baird, Healthy Happy Sleep and Sleep Wise Consulting all work that way. If you need a person in the room, the realistic options are Full Moon Doula Care for in-home postpartum care, Lakeside Baby for a nurse visit around Chelan, and Honeyleaf Birth & Baby if what you want is to be shown newborn care before the baby arrives.

2. What is your comfort level with crying?

Providers here start from different places and most will adapt, but the starting point matters. Healthy Happy Sleep states that its plans do not involve cry it out and describes its techniques as gentle and attachment preserving. Desiree Baird and Sleep Wise Consulting both tailor the plan to the family after an assessment, so say where your limits are on the first call. The local doula, nurse and midwife are responsive by design, because their work is care and teaching. For more on how the approaches differ, see our guide to common sleep training methods.

3. How old is your child?

Before the birth and in the first twelve weeks, the right tools are preparation, newborn care and feeding support, not training: Honeyleaf Birth & Baby’s class, Full Moon Doula Care’s postpartum hours and Lakeside Baby’s nurse and lactation visits all sit in that window, and Sleep Wise Consulting sells newborn packages lasting six months or a year. From about three to five months, Sleep Wise’s baby packages, Desiree Baird’s coaching and Healthy Happy Sleep’s plans take structured work, and all three coach toddlers too. A solid baby sleep schedule by age can also tell you whether the issue is just the schedule.

When You Probably Don’t Need a Sleep Consultant

Honestly? A lot of sleep struggles don’t require hiring a 2,000 dollar consultant. If your baby is generally healthy, you don’t have a complex medical situation in the picture, and you are dealing with a fairly common issue (a sleep regression, a nap transition, a schedule that just feels off), you can usually solve it with:

  • A solid age-specific schedule (we cover most ages in our baby sleep schedule by age guide).
  • Consistent application of one of the standard sleep training methods for 1 to 2 weeks.
  • A personalized plan from an app like Betteroo, or a free quiz like ours that gives you a starting framework.

If you have genuinely tried these for several weeks and nothing is working, or if your situation is unusually complex, that is when a human consultant earns their fee. One North Central Washington specific note: if your baby is under about three months, a full sleep training package is the wrong purchase. Sleep Wise Consulting writes its baby packages for children over three months and sells separate newborn packages for exactly this reason, so in the early weeks a few doula hours, a lactation visit or a 190 dollar newborn class buys you more than a long program. For more on how app-based approaches stack up against traditional consulting, see our deep dive on whether sleep training apps actually work.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a baby sleep consultant cost in Wenatchee?

Wenatchee families typically pay 399 to 825 dollars for a sleep coaching package and 50 to 150 dollars per hour for in-home postpartum care. Desiree Baird publishes packages from 399 to 649 dollars, Healthy Happy Sleep runs 625 to 1,525 dollars and Sleep Wise Consulting runs 495 to 1,850 dollars, all delivered remotely. Locally, Full Moon Doula Care’s directory profile lists 50 dollars per hour, Lakeside Baby charges 125 to 150 dollars per hour for nurse visits, and Honeyleaf Birth & Baby’s newborn class is 190 dollars per couple.

Is there a baby sleep consultant actually based in Wenatchee?

Not a dedicated one. We could not verify a baby sleep consulting business headquartered in Wenatchee or anywhere in Chelan or Douglas County, which is normal for a metro this size. What is based here is hands-on newborn support: Full Moon Doula Care and Honeyleaf Birth & Baby in Wenatchee, and Lakeside Baby in Chelan. The nearest certified sleep coaches we verified are across the Cascades, Desiree Baird in Snohomish and Sleep Wise Consulting’s senior consultant in Seattle, and both work with Wenatchee families remotely.

Can I get overnight newborn help in Wenatchee?

Not from a published overnight service. We could not verify a night nanny or overnight newborn care agency based in Chelan or Douglas County. The closest things on this list are Lakeside Baby’s home postpartum nurse visits, which run as late as midnight at 150 dollars per hour within 25 miles of Chelan, and Full Moon Doula Care’s in-home postpartum care, where the site does not mention overnight shifts, so ask directly. If overnight care is essential, raise it during pregnancy, because local availability is thin.

Does Apple Health cover doula care in Wenatchee?

It can. Full Moon Doula Care states that Washington Apple Health plans through Coordinated Care, Molina, WellPoint and CHPW fully cover its birth and postpartum doula packages, including in-home postpartum care, at no cost to the mother, and that Regence plans typically reimburse doula services. Honeyleaf Birth & Baby says both of its doulas are contracted with Medicaid. Lakeside Baby provides a superbill you can submit to your insurer. Sleep coaching packages are generally paid out of pocket, though Desiree Baird accepts HSA and FSA cards.

What age can I start sleep training with a consultant serving Wenatchee?

Most consultants begin formal behavioral sleep training somewhere between three and five months, once babies can manage longer stretches. Sleep Wise Consulting’s baby packages are written for children over three months, with separate newborn packages before that. Desiree Baird works with children from newborn through age five, and her schedule guide starts at five months. Healthy Happy Sleep works with children from birth to five using gentle methods. Before three months, newborn care, feeding support and a good newborn class are the appropriate tools.

Do sleep consultants serving Wenatchee offer virtual consultations?

Yes, and for structured sleep coaching remote work is the only route in the Wenatchee Valley. Desiree Baird coaches by video call and email from Snohomish, Sleep Wise Consulting runs every package by phone, email and text, and Healthy Happy Sleep works by video, phone, text and email with families across the country. Lakeside Baby also offers video lactation visits for concerns that do not need a hands-on exam. Remote coaching carries no travel cost and no pass to drive over, and it works well for families who can carry out a plan on their own.
