Search for baby sleep consultants in Chambersburg and you will quickly notice something: nobody in this line of work is actually based in Franklin County. Chambersburg sits in the Cumberland Valley between Harrisburg and Hagerstown, close enough to the Maryland line that families here often look in two states at once, and the sleep coaching that serves this area is delivered almost entirely over video and text from York, from the Philadelphia side of Pennsylvania, and from the Maryland and Washington corridor. Prices run from about 99 dollars for a self-guided course to close to 1,700 dollars for a full private program. The question is which style of support fits your family.
We pulled together this guide after looking at every Franklin County, south-central Pennsylvania, Hagerstown and statewide virtual sleep option we could find, comparing published pricing, methods, credentials, age ranges and who each one is genuinely best for. We read the package pages in full, checked certifications against the bodies that issue them, and dropped anyone whose site could not confirm they are still taking clients in 2026. What follows is six curated picks plus Betteroo, our app-based alternative, so you can see the whole range in one place.
Quick Answer
Most Chambersburg families pay between 399 and 999 dollars for a full sleep package, with single consultation calls starting near 100 dollars and premium private coaching running past 1,600 dollars. Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting publishes the clearest ladder in Pennsylvania, at 100, 399, 599, 799 and 999 dollars. Suite Sleep Co on the Maryland side charges 100, 600 and 650 dollars. Good Night Sleep Site puts its nearest consultant in York, about an hour east, and Gift of Sleep Consulting runs the premium end at 795 to 1,695 dollars. App-based alternatives like Betteroo deliver ongoing personalized plans for 15 to 25 dollars per month.

How Chambersburg Parents Are Actually Sleeping in 2026
Before you start comparing packages, it helps to know what normal actually looks like. Betteroo’s State of Parent & Baby Sleep 2026 is the largest dataset of its kind with 68,366 parents across 108 countries, and it gives you a baseline for what tired really means. There is no clean Chambersburg-only sample above our reporting threshold, so the figures below are the national 2026 numbers rather than a Franklin County read. They still tell you a great deal about how ordinary your situation is.
Numbers like these matter mostly for perspective. They tell you that broken nights are common rather than a parenting failure, and they help you judge whether paid help is worth the cost. Here is who actually serves Chambersburg.

Full transparency: Betteroo is our product. We have included it on this list because we genuinely think it is the best option for parents who want ongoing personalized support without the price tag of a full consultancy package. The other six picks are established Chambersburg consultants we would send our own friends to.
How We Picked the Best Chambersburg Sleep Consultants
Pennsylvania does not license sleep coaching, so a polished website tells you very little on its own. To narrow the field of baby sleep consultants in Chambersburg, we read every service page and about page in full, checked certifications against the bodies that issue them, and confirmed each practice is still taking clients in 2026 rather than coasting on an old site. To make this list, a consultant had to meet four criteria:
- Certified or formally trained in pediatric sleep, typically through programs like the Family Sleep Institute, the Cradle Coach Academy, the Sleep Sense program, or equivalent clinical credentials (RN, MD, certified postpartum doula or Newborn Care Provider).
- Active Chambersburg-area practice with availability in 2026 (we excluded consultants who have moved away or wound down their practice).
- Transparent methodology, meaning they describe their approach upfront rather than hiding it behind a sales call.
- Real client outcomes backed by reviews, testimonials, or media coverage we could verify.
We started with a list of more than twenty Franklin County, south-central Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Hagerstown and statewide virtual sleep practices, pulled from certification directories, regional parent groups and search. Most did not make it. Several local results turned out to be retail store listings or adult sleep clinics rather than pediatric coaches, a few had not updated anything since 2023, and several solo coaches had no traceable training. Six practices survived the check, and none of them is headquartered in Franklin County.
We did not accept payment, affiliate commissions, or sponsorship from any consultant on this list. Each pick reflects what we would recommend if a friend in Chambersburg asked us where to start.
1. Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting, Best Overall for Chambersburg Families
Karen Rickert runs Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting from Bethany in north-eastern Pennsylvania and works with families across the state entirely by video, phone and text. She is certified by the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting and brings more than forty years of experience supporting children, covering newborns through the early elementary years. She is the most complete Pennsylvania operation we found for a Chambersburg family, and her whole pricing structure is published openly.1
The ladder is refreshingly literal. A one hour Sweet Dreams session with wake window and environment guides is 100 dollars. The Sleepy Bunny plan is 399 dollars for a customized plan and five continuous supported evenings. Yawning Fawn is 599 dollars for eight. Frazzled Fox is 799 dollars for twelve nights, an extra call in week one and fourteen days of follow up, and it explicitly covers twins. Slumbering Bear is 999 dollars for fourteen nights plus daytime nap coaching and a fifteen day aftercare phase. Every plan starts with a free 15 minute discovery call.
Best for: Chambersburg parents who want to choose exactly how many supported nights they are paying for, and families who would rather compare five real numbers than sit through a sales call.
2. Good Night Sleep Site York, Closest Consultant to Chambersburg
Tracey Kondrasuk-Brander is the nearest working sleep consultant to Chambersburg, based in York about an hour east and explicitly serving south-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. She is a certified neonatal therapist and occupational therapist who spent more than nineteen years in a level three NICU and then worked in early intervention, and she was certified as a sleep consultant by QC Wellness in 2020. Her stated focus is premature infants, children with developmental delays and toddlers on the autism spectrum.2
She works through Good Night Sleep Site, a network running since 2007, so she has a team behind her rather than being a solo operator. The shared program pages list a self-guided baby sleep e-course from 99 Canadian dollars and a two week one to one SOS program at 697 Canadian dollars, which includes a one hour consultation, a customized plan, four follow up calls, unlimited text and email support and daily sleep log tracking. Because those figures are quoted in Canadian dollars, confirm the exact US number on the free 15 minute discovery call before you book.
Best for: Chambersburg families with a preemie, a NICU graduate or a child with a developmental diagnosis, and anyone who wants clinical developmental training rather than a purely behavioural approach.

3. Suite Sleep Co, Best on the Maryland Side and Best Entry Price
Jamesa Bailey runs Suite Sleep Co as a certified infant and toddler sleep coach serving Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia, and she takes online clients from anywhere. That matters for Chambersburg, because Hagerstown is only about half an hour down Interstate 81 and a lot of Franklin County families already look south for services. She is a mother of three and started the practice after realising how much of what she had been told about baby sleep was simply folklore.3
Her pricing is published in three plain tiers. A newborn consultation for the first twelve weeks is 100 dollars, which is the cheapest real consultation on this list. The infant sleep support package for four to seventeen months is 600 dollars. The toddler package for eighteen months to three years is 650 dollars. Her stated focus areas are longer night stretches, nap challenges, wake windows, early morning wakings, predictable schedules, bedtime routines, co-sleeping and bed sharing transitions and sleep regressions. Everything starts with a free 15 minute call.
Best for: Chambersburg parents in the newborn weeks who want a cheap way to start, and families who already use Hagerstown and Maryland services and would rather stay on that side of the line.
4. Gift of Sleep Consulting, Best Premium Private Coaching
Jennifer Schindele runs Gift of Sleep Consulting from Pennsylvania and works with families worldwide over Zoom. She came to this work after her own experience of postpartum depression, which she writes about openly on the site, and she coaches from the Sleep Sense philosophy. She caps her practice at three new families a week, which is a reasonable signal that the support is real rather than templated. She also runs a separate track for twins.4
Packages for babies aged four to eighteen months are published clearly. Sleepless is 795 dollars and covers a preliminary evaluation, a private 90 minute video consultation, a customized plan, three weeks of daily text support through the Rested app, four check in calls, daily sleep log review and a month of extended support. Let Me Sleep is 1,095 dollars and adds two more calls, a virtual nursery assessment, first night bedtime text support and four months of monthly follow up. Crazy Train is 1,695 dollars and stretches that follow up to twelve months. Everything opens with a free assessment call.
Best for: Chambersburg parents who want a long tail of support rather than two weeks and out, families expecting twins, and anyone who has already tried a cheaper package and reverted.
5. Not A Peep, Best for Older Children and Spanish-Speaking Families
Not A Peep was founded in Philadelphia in 2017 by Maria Clara Lopez, a certified pediatric sleep consultant with a psychology degree from Georgia State, and it now runs as a team of four certified consultants across several states. It is the only practice on this list that takes children all the way to ten years old, and services are available in Spanish as well as English, which is a genuine gap filler in south-central Pennsylvania.5
The service splits by stage: prenatal preparation, newborns from birth to eight weeks, babies from nine weeks to two years, children from two to ten, and a separate twin sleep track. Support includes virtual consultations with follow up emails, newborn sleep shaping, after-hours text messaging for the difficult nights and extended coaching windows of three to twelve months. In-home work is offered in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and the New York metro, which is too far east to be practical from Chambersburg, so treat this as a virtual option. Pricing is quoted after a free intro call.
Best for: Chambersburg families with a school age child whose sleep has fallen apart, Spanish-speaking parents who would rather do this in their own language, and anyone expecting twins.
6. Tiny Transitions, Best for Complex Cases and Whole Household Sleep
Tiny Transitions was founded in 2014 by Courtney Zentz, who works from West Chester near Philadelphia and sits on the board of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants. She runs a team of certified consultants and has coached more than ten thousand families, with coverage that goes well past the usual baby and toddler window: expecting parents, newborns, infants, toddlers and school age children, special needs, and a separate adult sleep arm for parents whose own sleep has stopped working.6
The house method is called Sleep Architecture, a four week customized program with daily implementation support rather than a template and a phone number. Zentz is unusually blunt on the site that the practice is more expensive than most, and that what you are paying for is real time adjustments, sibling sleep coordination, partner alignment and the anxiety and behavioural side that many coaches are not trained in. Self-guided courses start around 50 dollars, but private coaching is quoted after a call, so ask for the full figure including any add ons before you commit.
Best for: Chambersburg families with two or three children whose sleep is tangled together, parents of a child with additional needs, and adults who want coaching for their own insomnia at the same time.
7. Betteroo, Best App-Based Alternative
Full transparency: Betteroo is our product, so we have included it here for comparison but encourage you to evaluate it alongside the other options.
The biggest gap with hiring a sleep consultant, even a great one, is that the engagement ends. You get a plan, you get a few weeks of follow-up, and then you are on your own. But baby sleep doesn’t stop changing. Regressions hit at 4, 8, 12, and 18 months. Nap transitions arrive whether you are ready or not. Travel, illness, daycare, a new sibling: every change resets the picture, and most families end up rebuilding their plan from scratch each time.
Betteroo is built differently. It’s designed to stick with you, adapting to your baby and your situation as both evolve, with built-in tracking, insights tailored to your family, and ongoing personalized guidance instead of a one-time intervention. The idea is that you shouldn’t need to hire a new consultant every time something changes, or piece together advice from books, forums, and Instagram at 3am when something new comes up.
It also factors in you: how you are doing, your bandwidth, your comfort level with different approaches, not just your baby. Because a plan that assumes you are operating at full capacity isn’t useful when you are running on three hours of broken sleep. For Chambersburg parents working warehouse, plant or hospital shifts on opposite schedules, that’s often the difference between a plan that works and one that gets abandoned by week two.
A common path we see from Chambersburg families: they start with Betteroo for the day-to-day support and personalized plan, and book a one-hour call with a consultant like Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting or Suite Sleep Co if they hit a specific roadblock that needs a human in the loop. That combination tends to cost less than a full in-home package and gives you ongoing support long after the consultant call wraps up.
Best for: Families who want ongoing personalized support that evolves with them through every regression, nap transition, and life change, rather than a one-time consultant engagement.
What to know: An app can’t replace having an experienced human in your home during the hardest nights. If your baby has medical complexity, or you know you do better with hands-on coaching, hire a consultant. For most families’ day-to-day sleep questions, an adaptive app does the job, and keeps doing it as your baby grows.

Where Chambersburg Baby Sleep Consultants Are Based
We want to be straight about this: none of the six practices above is based in Franklin County, and we could not verify a single certified pediatric sleep consultant with an office anywhere between Shippensburg and Waynesboro. That is entirely normal for a county of this size, and it matters less than it sounds, because every practice here delivers coaching over video, phone and text. What Chambersburg does have is a choice of two directions, east into Pennsylvania and south into Maryland. Here is how the geography actually falls.
Chambersburg, Shippensburg and Waynesboro
Nobody on this list has an office in the borough, so whether you are near Memorial Square, out by the Norland Avenue corridor, up in Shippensburg or down in Waynesboro makes no practical difference to what you can book. Everything arrives by video, phone and text, and your sleep logs get read the same way from any of those addresses. The one thing local geography genuinely changes is in-home overnight care, which is realistically unavailable in Franklin County. If you want a trained person physically in the house at night, expect to look toward Harrisburg or Hagerstown and pay for travel.
East Toward York and Harrisburg
This is the direction with the nearest actual consultant. Tracey Kondrasuk-Brander works from York, about an hour east on Route 30, and markets explicitly to south-central Pennsylvania families, so she is the closest thing Chambersburg has to a local option. Harrisburg is a similar distance north-east up Interstate 81 and gives you a wider pool again, though almost all of it works remotely too. If you want a consultant who understands Cumberland Valley commutes and school calendars without you explaining them, look east first.
South Toward Hagerstown and the Maryland Line
Hagerstown is about half an hour south on Interstate 81, and a lot of Franklin County families already cross the line for work, shopping and healthcare. Suite Sleep Co serves Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia and takes online clients, so it is a natural fit if you are already oriented that way, and its 100 dollar newborn consultation is the cheapest real entry point on this list. Just be clear that the coaching is delivered online rather than in your living room, so the short drive is not something you would ever actually make.
How Much Do Chambersburg Baby Sleep Consultants Cost?
Pricing for baby sleep consultants in Chambersburg is more transparent than you might expect, because four of our six picks publish real figures on their own sites. What you pay tracks two things: how many nights of live support you get, and how long the follow up window runs afterwards. Expect roughly:
Self-guided online course
A structured written or audio program you work through yourself, with no one to one support. A sensible first step on a tight budget.
Single consultation call
One hour with a certified consultant plus wake window and environment guides. Good when you already have most of a plan.
Standard package, five to eight supported nights
Full intake, a custom written plan and continuous evening support through the first week of implementation.
Extended package, ten to fourteen supported nights
Longer nightly support windows, daytime nap coaching, extra calls and a two week aftercare phase.
Premium private coaching
Three weeks of daily app-based support, nursery assessment, first night bedtime coaching and four to twelve months of monthly follow up.
Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting, Suite Sleep Co and Gift of Sleep Consulting all publish their numbers, which makes comparison straightforward: 100 dollars, 100 dollars and 795 dollars respectively for their entry level options. Good Night Sleep Site lists its shared program prices in Canadian dollars, so ask for the US figure. Not A Peep and Tiny Transitions quote privately. Ask two things on every call: what an extra support week costs, and whether the price changes for a second child. Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting and Not A Peep both say twins are covered within their existing plans.
What to Expect from a Free Discovery Call
Every practice here opens with a free call, and it costs you nothing to book two or three and compare. Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting runs a free 15 minute discovery call, Suite Sleep Co offers a free 15 minute call, and Gift of Sleep Consulting offers a complimentary sleep assessment by phone or Zoom. Treat the call as an interview rather than a sales pitch, and go in with these five questions written down.
What is your methodology, and how flexible is it?
You want to hear a named approach and then hear it bent to fit your child. Ask what they would do if your baby is still crying on night four, and what the plan looks like if you are not willing to leave the room at all. Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting says plainly which of its plans expect mild to moderate protest and which are designed to minimise it, which is more honest than most. Courtney Zentz at Tiny Transitions describes a four week method rather than a three night fix. A consultant who has only one protocol is telling you something useful.
What credentials and training do you have?
Pennsylvania has no state licence for sleep coaching, so ask which body certified them and when. Karen Rickert is certified by the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting, Tracey Kondrasuk-Brander is a certified neonatal therapist and occupational therapist who was certified as a sleep consultant by QC Wellness in 2020, Maria Lopez holds a psychology degree and a pediatric sleep certification, and Courtney Zentz sits on the board of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants. Anyone worth hiring will name their training without hedging.
What is included, and what does follow-up look like?
Get the specifics in writing: how many nights of live support, over how many weeks, through what channel, and how quickly they reply. Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting counts its supported evenings literally, five, eight, twelve or fourteen. Gift of Sleep Consulting gives three weeks of daily app text support plus four to six calls. Not A Peep offers after-hours text messaging. Also ask what an extra week costs, because regressions rarely respect a two week window.
Have you worked with a situation like ours?
A preemie, reflux, a child with a developmental diagnosis, twins, a seven year old who will not stay in their own bed: ask directly. Tracey Kondrasuk-Brander spent nineteen years in a level three NICU and names autism and developmental delay specifically, Not A Peep takes children to ten and runs a twins track, and Tiny Transitions offers a special needs track and sibling coordination. A consultant who has not handled your exact scenario should say so plainly rather than improvise.
What does total pricing look like?
Ask for the full figure including any add ons, not the headline number. Find out whether extra support weeks, sibling plans or a second child cost more, and whether the quote is in US dollars. Good Night Sleep Site publishes shared program prices in Canadian dollars, Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting includes twins inside its Frazzled Fox and Slumbering Bear plans, and Tiny Transitions is openly a premium option. Those details move the real number more than the headline does.

How to Choose the Right Chambersburg Baby Sleep Consultant for Your Family
Three questions to ask yourself before booking a discovery call with baby sleep consultants in Chambersburg:
1. How hands-on do you want the support to be?
This is the first real fork. If you want a plan and the confidence to run it yourself, a self-guided course or a 100 dollar single call from Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting or Suite Sleep Co does the job for very little money. If you want someone reading your sleep logs each morning and adjusting, look at the middle Pocono plans or Suite Sleep Co’s infant package, where the support runs over a week or more. If you want daily contact for a month and a long follow up tail, that is Gift of Sleep Consulting or Tiny Transitions, and it is a different budget.
2. What is your comfort level with crying?
Decide this before you book, because it filters the list faster than price does. Some parents can hold a structured check in approach for three nights and others cannot manage two minutes, and both are legitimate. Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting labels each plan by how much protest it expects, and Not A Peep and Tiny Transitions both describe gentle, non cry it out approaches. Reading up on common sleep training methods first will let you say clearly on the call what you are and are not willing to do.
3. How old is your child?
Age narrows this list quickly. Under three months you want sleep shaping rather than training, which is where Suite Sleep Co’s 100 dollar newborn consultation and Not A Peep’s newborn track fit. Between four months and three years everyone here will take you. Past six years, Not A Peep and Tiny Transitions are the only picks that keep going, Not A Peep to ten and Tiny Transitions through the school age years and into adult coaching. Looking at a baby sleep schedule by age before the call will also tell you whether your real problem is the daytime schedule rather than the settling.
When You Probably Don’t Need a Sleep Consultant
Honestly? A lot of sleep struggles don’t require hiring a $2,000+ consultant. If your baby is generally healthy, you don’t have a complex medical situation in the picture, and you are dealing with a fairly common issue (a sleep regression, a nap transition, a schedule that just feels off), you can usually solve it with:
- A solid age-specific schedule (we cover most ages in our baby sleep schedule by age guide).
- Consistent application of one of the standard sleep training methods for 1 to 2 weeks.
- A personalized plan from an app like Betteroo, or a free quiz like ours that gives you a starting framework.
If you have genuinely tried these for several weeks and nothing is working, or if your situation is unusually complex, that is when a human consultant earns their fee. For more on how app-based approaches stack up against traditional consulting, see our deep dive on whether sleep training apps actually work.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a baby sleep consultant cost in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania?
Most Chambersburg families pay between 399 and 999 dollars for a full sleep package. Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting publishes plans at 100, 399, 599, 799 and 999 dollars depending on how many supported nights you want. Suite Sleep Co charges 100 dollars for a newborn consultation, 600 dollars for its infant package and 650 dollars for toddlers. Gift of Sleep Consulting runs the premium end at 795, 1,095 and 1,695 dollars. Self-guided courses start around 50 dollars. Not A Peep and Tiny Transitions quote per family after a free call.
Are there any baby sleep consultants actually based in Chambersburg, PA?
Not that we could verify. We could not find a certified pediatric sleep consultant with an office or practice address in Chambersburg, Shippensburg, Waynesboro or anywhere else in Franklin County, which is entirely normal for a county this size. The nearest is Tracey Kondrasuk-Brander in York, about an hour east, who markets explicitly to south-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. Because all of this coaching happens over video, phone and text, the distance changes nothing about the service you receive. It only matters if you specifically want somebody in your house overnight.
Do Chambersburg sleep consultants come to your home?
Realistically, no. Every practice serving Chambersburg works remotely, and none of them lists Franklin County as an in-home service area. Not A Peep offers in-home work in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and the New York metro, which is three hours or more away, and Suite Sleep Co is oriented toward the Maryland, DC and Virginia corridor but delivers its coaching online. If you want a trained person physically present overnight, you would be hiring a newborn care specialist from Harrisburg or Hagerstown and paying travel. For ordinary sleep coaching, video covers it.
What age can I start sleep training with a Chambersburg consultant?
Most consultants serving Chambersburg start structured sleep training between four and six months, once a baby has the weight and development to manage longer stretches without feeding. Before that you are looking at gentle sleep shaping: consistent wind down routines, learning wake windows, and practising putting a baby down drowsy but awake. Suite Sleep Co runs a newborn consultation for the first twelve weeks, Not A Peep covers birth to eight weeks separately, and Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting recommends its single session for expectant parents and newborns up to four months. If you are unsure, ask on the free call.
Is a sleep consultant worth it, or can I do it myself?
Plenty of families fix sleep with a book and a fortnight of consistency, and if that sounds like you, start there. What you are actually buying from a consultant is a plan built for your particular child and someone to talk you through night three, which is where most self led attempts fall apart. If you have already tried twice and reverted both times, the money is buying follow through rather than new information. A self-guided course near 99 dollars or a 100 dollar single call is a sensible middle step before committing to a full package.
Are baby sleep consultants in Chambersburg certified?
Pennsylvania does not license sleep consulting, so certification means whichever private program a consultant completed. It still tells you a lot. Karen Rickert at Pocono Pediatric Sleep Consulting is certified by the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting, Tracey Kondrasuk-Brander is a certified neonatal therapist and licensed occupational therapist certified as a sleep consultant by QC Wellness in 2020, Maria Lopez at Not A Peep is a certified pediatric sleep consultant, and Courtney Zentz at Tiny Transitions sits on the board of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants. Ask for the issuing body and the year, and be cautious with anyone who cannot name both.
