Charline Ogbeni is a proud NICU mom and owner of Supporting Our Mothers Initiative, LLC (SOMI), a company created to address the needs of birthing individuals in Queens, NY and beyond. She is a School Counselor, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Full Spectrum Doula, and Lactivist, and has spent nearly 10 years educating parents and providing social-emotional support to scholars across New York City. She gained an interest in breastfeeding after attending the Baby Café program and continues to pursue knowledge to empower and educate parents through in-person and virtual learning opportunities. As a birth and postpartum doula she provides prenatal, labor, and postpartum support to families; she holds a Bachelor's in Human Services with a psychology minor and a Master's in Education School Counseling from St. John's.
