Amy was the best doula! When Amy would come to the house, I felt like everything was going to be okay. I had some traumatic experiences in the hospital which made trusting others difficult- Amy was gentle and slow to help me feel at ease and safe. She also made it feel safe to vocalize my anxiety or triggers- Amy truly made me feel like she was there to guide me and support me through the postpartum time. She was also very good at making sure I had water and was fed!

Amy was such a lifesaver for our family! We were exhausted taking care of our newborn and very active toddler before we found Amy. She was so understanding, kind, and was available to immediately jump in to help us out. We were able to sneak in a solid afternoon nap every week while she took care of our baby and help us catch up on household chores. She has our highest recommendation. Amy was a warm and supportive presence, extremely reliable, a good communicator, and always diligent about attuning to where we were in our postpartum journey by checking in with our needs for the day when she arrived, and soliciting our feedback as she gained experience and intuition about how to best support us (we worked with her at the beginning of her doula career). She was very eager to learn and adapt, and was always receptive to our input and ideas. Most days, we asked her to wear our baby in a front-pack and prep and cook meals for us while we rested, took baths, and got outside for gentle movement. Money well spent!
