Rachel Lieber, BA, RN, IBCLC, is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant supporting new families in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Ulster counties. A nurse and board-certified lactation consultant, and a mother of three, Rachel understands the challenges facing new parents and offers reliable, compassionate, non-judgmental care. With nearly a decade of lactation experience (and work as a birth and postpartum doula before that), she doesn't have a personal agenda for how you choose to feed your baby — her goal is to provide evidence-based information so you can make the best decisions for yourself, your baby, and your family.
Services
In-home consultations in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Ulster Counties, plus telehealth available for all locations. Initial in-home consultations last about 90 minutes and include a discussion of medical history, assessment of parent and baby, and a weighted feed; follow-up visits run about 60 minutes. Virtual appointments address the same issues without a weighted feed and are 60 minutes for an initial visit. Insurance-covered visits are available for Aetna, United Health Care, and Blue Cross Blue Shield; self-pay clients are provided a superbill for reimbursement.
