Cara worked with me, remotely, every Tuesday at noon PST—me in San Francisco, she in Chicago—as I recapped the week's events. Cara created a scaffolding to help me regain a foundation where trust, compassion, and listening were paramount in reestablishing boundaries and openness with my daughter. Each week, Cara would ask me to think deeply about how I wanted to proceed and to keep notes and lists on what I felt and how I could apply what we had discussed. Her thoughtful approach made me count the minutes each week until we arrived at noon on Tuesday, PST, so that I could gain more insight on how to handle the dynamics of parenting.

I cannot tell you how much being a part of a group led by Cara has changed my life! I had never experienced working with a parent coach or knew much about it, but am so grateful to now have Cara as a resource through this most important journey. Her extensive background, training, and knowledge provide a world of insight for all various aspects of parenting. Through her and the group, I have made other valuable connections and friendships, and I have been introduced to a variety of authors, speakers, ideas, educators, and other professionals. I feel like my tribe has grown tenfold, and am thus much more comfortable and confident as I embark on this crazy chapter of my life. My children are very young, so at first I wasn't sure I would gain as much from the group as those with older children, but it was just the opposite. I always felt one step ahead having been introduced to topics forthcoming such as sibling rivalry, screentime, homework, discipline, etc. I hope that every parent can find a space and confidant like I have, and if you are still looking, Cara is simply outstanding.
