Sandy Campos is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Registered Nurse, and mother, proudly serving families throughout Long Island as Lactating Mamas of Long Island. She has invested 10 years as a nurse — including as a NICU nurse and postpartum nurse — and is Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN) certified, but she also understands this work on a deeply personal level. Her approach is gentle, judgment-free, and rooted in both science and compassion: she takes the time to listen, understand each family's story, and meet them where they are, creating a realistic feeding plan aligned with their goals, whether that means breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or supplementation. Bilingual services are offered in English and Spanish.
Services
Virtual lactation consultations, office and in-home hands-on visits (with a Registered Nurse and IBCLC assessing the breastfeeding journey and creating a tailored plan), and overnight nurse support for nighttime feedings and newborn care. Insurance is accepted via The Lactation Network. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
