About Cass

Cass Christopher Lactation Consulting (CCLC) is a group practice led by owner and clinical practitioner Cass Christopher, IBCLC, I-CST, who sees patients all over the country and world via telehealth. A former Broadway performer, Cass was inspired to help other parents after her own early breastfeeding struggles, and built CCLC on the belief that everyone deserves high-quality, compassionate health care regardless of race, culture, who they love, or financial situation. The practice includes a team of IBCLCs and lactation providers serving families across Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Westchester, lower Connecticut, and New Jersey, several of whom offer care in additional languages (Spanish, Hindi, Romanian) and specialize in areas including perinatal mental health, NICU support, oral restrictions, and LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent families.

Services

In-home, in-office, and telehealth lactation and infant feeding consultations, including prenatal education, latching support, pumping and back-to-work planning, NICU and oral-restriction support, and a Park Slope lactation support group. Insurance accepted in-network includes Aetna, Meritain, United Healthcare (including Oxford Freedom and UMR), and Anthem/BCBS. Self-pay fees are Office Visit: $300; Virtual Visit: $200.
