About Westchester
Westchester Lactation provides breastfeeding support in Westchester, the Bronx, and lower Connecticut with Dana Hilsenrath, IBCLC. Dana was drawn to lactation work after the birth of her twin boys in 2015, when she struggled with breastfeeding and was fortunate to have the support of an IBCLC — an experience that changed her life and career. After completing her lactation education and clinical hours and passing the IBLCE exam, she has worked in hospital settings, private practice, and virtually, supporting families across a wide range of breastfeeding challenges. She holds a Master's in Business Administration and believes every mother deserves personalized, evidence-based support, whether they're struggling with latch, supply, pumping, returning to work, or simply need reassurance.
Services
In-Home Visits (judgment-free support in Westchester or lower CT, self-pay only), In-Person Office Visits (in Mamaroneck, NY, with a written feeding plan; self-pay or Aetna), Virtual Consults (for back-to-work/pump planning or prenatal questions, self-pay only), and Bundles of services in both in-person and virtual formats. A postpartum course ("Thriving After Birth") is also offered.
