Pediatric Medical Advisor, Betteroo
Dr. Meidad Greenberg is the Pediatric Medical Advisor at Betteroo, where he provides clinical oversight across the company’s sleep guidance, content, and research, including the medical review of the Betteroo State of Parent & Baby Sleep 2026 report.
Dr. Greenberg is a board-certified pediatrician and board-certified pediatric nephrologist. He completed his pediatric nephrology fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in New York, where he was named Best Teaching Fellow two years running and received the Leo M. Davidoff Society Education Award. He earned his MD at Ben Gurion University of the Negev and completed his pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel, one of the largest pediatric centers in the region. He holds a New York State medical license and is ECFMG certified.
Today, Dr. Greenberg serves as Head of the Pediatric Nephrology service at Meir Medical Center and is completing a fellowship in Medical Genetics, giving him a rare combined lens on pediatric physiology, development, and the genetic factors that shape early childhood health. He trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital in point-of-care ultrasound, led the US-guided kidney biopsy course at Albert Einstein, and now lectures across the Weizmann Institute of Science MD-PhD program, Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine, and Ariel University.
As a published researcher with peer-reviewed work in American Journal of Kidney Diseases, Pediatric Nephrology, Endocrine Practice, European Journal of Internal Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Greenberg brings a research-grade standard to every recommendation Betteroo publishes. His role is to ensure the company’s guidance aligns with established pediatric evidence from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Sleep Foundation.
Dr. Greenberg is available for clinical interviews on infant and toddler sleep development, nighttime physiology, reflux, hydration, and the pediatric evidence base behind common sleep practices. He is a father of three.
