The Pump Station & Nurtury was founded in 1986 by Corky Harvey, one of the nation's first IBCLCs, who earned her Master's in Maternal Newborn Nursing and was a trailblazing graduate of one of the first clinical lactation programs in the US at UCLA. Now in its 38th year in Santa Monica, the nationally acclaimed Pump Station team continues to provide Los Angeles area families with expert, IBCLC-credentialed breastfeeding help from a warm, private lactation center at 2727 Main St.

Private in-office lactation consultations (and in-home visits via affiliated IBCLCs); first visits run 1hr 15min (twins 1hr 45min); prenatal and newborn classes, breastfeeding classes, free virtual breastfeeding support group, and a full breastfeeding store.
