About Jennie
Jennie Monness is a NYC-based parent and child educator and the co-founder of Union Square Play, a parenting community and playspace with locations in the tri-state area. She began her career in early childhood 15 years ago after receiving her Master’s Degree in Psychology in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, working as an early-childhood teacher with infants and toddlers before becoming Education and Center Director of several programs — which led her to the RIE Educaring Approach. Today she uses decades of knowledge and experience in early childhood education to educate and empower parents all over the world, teaching workshops, speaking on panels, and leading classes.
