Dr. Magdalena M. Oledzka serves as Pediatric Physical Therapy Advisor at Betteroo, where her clinical background in infant and child motor development helps translate pediatric physical therapy research into practical, trustworthy guidance for families navigating the early years of their child’s motor development.

Dr. Oledzka is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy with more than 25 years of experience in the field. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Pediatric Science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2018, and has been part of the pediatric rehabilitation team at the Hospital for Special Surgery since 2007. She currently serves as Clinical Lead at the HSS Pediatric Rehabilitation and Young Athlete Center.

Her research on congenital muscular torticollis has earned recognition from the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy, including the 2020 Dissertation Award. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has lectured across the United States and internationally on infant development, cerebral palsy, and fostering motor competence in children of all abilities. Her global education work includes teaching trips to China and Ghana to train local pediatric therapists.

At Betteroo, Dr. Oledzka applies her pediatric physical therapy expertise to review content and product features, ensuring families receive trusted, clinically informed guidance on safe positioning, symmetrical and timely motor development, flat head syndrome (plagiocephaly), and early signs of motor delay.
